Do pets go to heaven?
Of course pets go to heaven. They are like little people and God created them just like he did with us, love and more love. I have lost many cats recently and I believe like many, that they are in heaven with God and my husband. I believe that when they die, the Angel of Death, Israfeel, comes and takes their little paws and guides them to heaven. I believe that they are not in any pain now.
I lost my little friend Precious 5 weeks ago. She just went out the window, never to return. We lost many cats in those first few days and I am sure some bad person took many lives that fateful day. I called and called her, but she never returned and I prayed and I prayed to God to show me my sweet Precious. I saw a white winged horse and an Angel riding the hose was holding my sweet friend. I saw her limp body and I saw sadness on the face of the Angel.
I cried as I am doing right now, and that night, I dreamed of Precious. In that dream, Precious was fat and happy and did not want to come back to me. I saw her and I held her, but she ran away again. I believe that God was showing me that she is with him now and I am not to worry at all. Sure, I still pray that she comes home, but deep inside I know she will not be back. Pain and horror can be a bad thing, but to believe that the kitties do not go to heaven, impossible for sure.
In Islam, we believe that animals go to heaven and that on judgement day, they have rights. They will go before God and tell him who helped them and who hurt them. I believe with all my heart she has rights too. I believe that me relying on God to take such revenge is better than seeking out the one who harmed her, so I am waiting. I believe that God is merciful and if he took my closest friend away, then it must be for a better place.
I imagine green pastures with lots of flowers. I imagine lots of food and milk for sure and I imagine Precious jumping and running in huge pastures of clover. Just imagine how many Angels she is with today.

Not sure if they go to heaven per se. However, someone made a very good point that I never really thought of before. That point was that the spirit of everything ever created that lived will always be. So the spirit of animals, man, plants, etc will always be even if they're not individually in the physical realm at any given time.

Our religion teaches us that animals do go to heaven to speak with Allah on judgement day. There they get to have their rights heard and then they will disappear as in smoke, so they will not remain.

Animal have souls, I have seen them after they've passed. When I was little, 6, our beloved dog Lady was killed by a truck. I saw it happen. It was an accident. There was no way the truck could have stopped. I loved that dog. She was my friend and playmate. I still remember her letting me pick her up (she was almost as big as me) and put her in my doll carriage and push her around the back yard. I was maybe 4 at the time. After she died, I woke up one night and looked over the side of my bed and there she was sleeping on the floor by my bed.
After I was was a grown woman, I lost my beloved Augie to renal failure at age 18. I'd had him since he was a 4 week old kitten. He was my baby. I loved him as fiercely as any mother would her own child. For three weeks after he died, I was awakened every night by the soft pats of his paw on my arm or hand, so he could jump up in the bed and settle under the covers next to me. I could even feel the weight of his body on the bed when he jumped up. For months after I'd lost my cats Garfield and Bogart, in the middle of the night the foot of the bed would jostle as if they'd jump up to curl up with us like they'd done when they were alive.
If an animal becomes part of your family, I believe they become part of your soul family. They can even choose to be reincarnated and rejoin you on the physical plane. I have seen it.

What an extremely inspiring story. Do you mind if I write about you and your gift? I am a writer for Helium, Orato and Suite 101. Lol, I am busy.

The Bible tells us clearly that there are going to be all sorts of animals in heaven. Animals are a very important part of God’s creation. In fact, so special to God are animals that when He created the first humans (Adam and Eve) He put animals in the garden with them to keep them company. God made animals to be our friends, our companions, to love us and for us to love them. God cares about them too. He says that not even a single bird can fall to the ground without Him knowing it. Your dog is not just “a pet” to you, he is much more than that and you have clearly become very attached to him. He means a lot to you. You love him and he loves you. Everything that we read in the Bible about God’s character tells me unequivocally that, yes, our pets will be with us in heaven. There is absolutely nothing in the Bible that would lead us to think otherwise. God would not deprive us in Heaven of something that we loved so dearly on earth the way that you love your dog. How do we know this? The Bible tells us that everyone who accepts Jesus as their Saviour will go to Heaven and that they will have all of God’s creation with them, (Romans 8: 20-22) and this includes animals. It tells us as well that all things will be incorruptible which means that nothing can ever die, not even your dog, he will be with you forever. You may hear some grown-ups say that “Animals do not have souls.” However, they do become a part of ours as their love and companionship touches us in a very significant and eternal way. They become just like part of the family. Can you imagine a world with no animals? No Birds flying in the sky? No Dogs playing in the yard, or Horses running and kicking up their heels in the pastures? Well, that’s not the way that God created the earth and the Bible assures us that in Heaven, too, there will be Animals living with us and you can be certain that your dog will be among them, frolicking and happily playing forever.
