Day 2

Yay! I just completed day #2 and have experienced a weight loss of 7.0 lbs! This is very uplifting to me and I am very pleased with my results thus far. In the mornings, I have decided to go with a cup of Salt Walt Flush(seems this is all I can stomach of this nasty mixture) along with a cup of herbal laxative tea in which I actually enjoy, Its very calming. Since I've been a bit cold during the cleanse the tea is especially nice. I was feeling a little naseous this morning and this has probably been the worst day for side effects. I had stomach cramping and many many trips to the bathroom. I attribute my weight loss primarily to my excersive lately, I have been out running in the am and crunches in the pm. I don't think I have the energy for that today, so I'll just stick to my crunches. While my side effects worsened today I was pretty uncomfortable through out the day so I decided to nap a little....which was great! I totally slept it off and I felt much better when waking up. Although I did have a dream of eating a burrito and some other fattening food and I woke up freaked out! It was had at first to establish my dream from reality...luckily it was just a dream! I was so relieved. I found that the horrible taste in the lemonade was actually due to the Grade B Maple syrup, yuck! I attributed this nasty taste to the cayenne pepper I guess because I was expecting syrup to to be sweeter, not! I haven't quite been a been able to consume the amount of lemonade that is called for but I am building myself up to it. I heard that cane juice can also be used in place of the maple syrup, that it is actually reccommended but is hard to find. I might see if wholefoods market has some and try that instead. I am feeling very good about this thus far! My results far outweigh the nasty side effects and I'm happy to suffer through them knowing that there is light at the end of the tunnel! My biggest temptation is coming up. I am going out of town for a few days to visit family and friends...they will be eating food! Ugggh....I need to stay strong. It will be extremely difficult as my mother is a great cook and my aunt is making the best mexican soup ever! Wish me luck, I won't be able to update this into I get back but I will keep a recollection of my days away. Adios!

I did this a few years ago. I set my goal for 14 days. Overall I lost 18 lbs and felt great when it was done. I will do it again next month. I'm going to see how you do for the 40 day plan I think it's fantastic to set that as your goal. I'd like to do the same this time. Take Care.
