  • Where to buy a water distiller   by  vx     16 y     27,214       2 Messages Shown       Blog: VX's Health Journey to an ageless mind and body
Drinking clean water is a very important step to great health and distilled water is the best water.

One of the most basic questions people have that stop them from buying water distillers is that it's not clear where they should buy one from.

So I did my research on water distillers (to buy my own water distiller) and this is what I found.

So after doing my research and looking at over 50+ websites at least, I found that water distillers sold in Canada and the USA for under $700 are all made by the same company (or companies)! The same distillers are then re-branded and sold by different marketing companies. So the only thing that matters in the under $700 price range is: price and service.

Water distillers at $700+ price range are all very different and some can be unique.

Personally I wasn't sure how much distilled water I would drink and I didn't want the distiller to take up too much space. I also didn't want the pain of setting up a complex distiller, so I chose the cheapest choice possible that does the job.

Based on price and service, I found the following company to be the best. $120.

Perhaps you can find better prices/services somewhere else?

I live in Canada. The good news is they delivered the water distiller in 4 days (UPS). The bad news is that I had an extra COD charge of $50 added on after it cleared customs. So the real price of the distiller cost me around $200 after shipping and handling.

If you are Canadian, you might want to try this company, they ship directly from Canada, so you won't get hit with an insane COD charges.

If the above Canadian company isn't working, maybe buy from Amazon to not get the COD charge?

I personally LOVE my water distiller and can't imagine going back to drinking tap water. Yuck! Water is essential for purifying our blood and hard water clogs our veins and makes them hard, which makes us old. Some people in certain states with hard water die at 50 just because of drinking hard water with lots of inorganic minerals.

You can find more information about distilled water in the book "The Miracle of Fasting" by Paul Bragg.

If you're buying a $700+ water distiller, I'd do more research and perhaps look locally (if you're in Canada), for service and installation and not paying insane COD charges.

The following Canadian companies had interesting products in the $700+ range.

Thank you for this post. Although you wrote it several years ago, it seems that not much has changed in the water distiller marketplace.

I agree that all the less expensive models look essentially the same, with various cosmetic differences.

I was about to pay $399+ for a Waterwise countertop distiller. I decided to buy a basic Megahome instead and saved myself several hundred dollars.

Again, this post helped a lot, thanks so much,

      Mira
