Eradicate Asthma and Allergies ... by F. Batmanghelidj, M.D.
"It is my researched opinion that the human body has three categories of indicators that should be considered as representatives or outcomes of dehydration in some parts of the body. They are: Perceptive indicators, crisis calls of the body for water, and adaptive drought management and water rationing progams. These newly understood indicators of dehydration are distinct and recognizable, and all are preventable, before irreversible damage takes place.
"THE PERCEPTIVE INDICATORS OF DROUGHT IN THE BODY
"The brain itself is 85 percent water and is most sensitive to dehydration. It shows its water shortage by any of the following:
1) Feeling tired when it not the result of strenuous work - in its extreme form, chronic fatigue syndrome.
2) Feeling flushed for no external reason."
_______
"7) Cravings for beverages, and even alcohol, hard drugs and cigarettes.
THE CRISES CALLS OF THE BODY FOR WATER
Among the second group of crisis symptoms and signs of water needs of
the body are the different localized chronic pains. They include the following:
1) Heartburn
2) Dyspepsia
3) Rheumatoid joint pain
4) Back pain
5) Migraine headaches
6) Leg pain on walking
7) Fibromyalgia - muscle and soft tissue pain, to the point of causing muscular dystrophy.
8) Colitis pain and its associated constipation.
9) Anginal pain - a sign of most advanced water shortage in the heart and lung axis.
10) Early morning sickness of pregnancy, indicating thirst of the fetus and the mother.
Bad breath is also an indication of water shortage in the body. It is produced by fermentation of food that has not been washed away from inside the stomach, or by gases that leave the heavily polluted colon and work their way upward to leave via the lungs and mouth.
THE DROUGHT MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS OF THE BODY
The body possesses water management programs when it is in drought. The main
drought management programs of the body that have been labeled as diseases are -
1) Asthma and allergies.
2) Hypertension.
3) Old-age diabetes.
4) Constipation and its complication of pain in the lower intestines, colitis pain.
5) Autoimmune diseases, including lupus and cancer."

"The human body is in constant need of water. It is losing water through the lungs when we breath out. It is losing water in perspiration, in urine production and in daily bowel movements. A good gauge for the water needs of the body is the color of urine. A well hydrated person produces colorless urine - not counting the color of vitamins or color additives in food. A comparatively dehydrated person produces yellow urine. A truly dehydrated person produces urine that is orange in color."
"A change of lifestyle becomes vital for the correction of any dehdration-produced disorder. The backbone of the water cure program is, simply, sufficient water and full mineral salt intake; regular exercise; a balanced, mineral rich diet that includes lots of fruits and vegetables, and the essential fats needed to make cell membranes, hormones, and nerve insulation; exclusion of caffeine and alcohol; relaxation to solve and "detoxify" stressful thoughts and emotional situations; and exclusion of artificial sweeteners.
