I did a liver cleanse and did not find it to be at all costly. Here is the breakdown. (US dollars)

1 bottle Magnesium Citrate 1.69
(could have used Epsom Salts which can be purchased at walmart for .99)
1 bottle Hain brand cold pressed Almond oil 3.89
1 large grapefruit .69

So the whole thing cost me 6.27
I would not call that costly when compared to the cost of surgery
