Re: Thanks InCharge, Natalie,etc.
Karlin,
"Did any of you get the cavitat? how was the surgery, and what did they find?"
I had the cavitat. Expensive. The dentist (who is listed in that link that natalie provided) divided the mouth into 4 different sections (upper right, lower right etc.) If I remember correctly, each cost about $350 or about $1000 for the whole mouth which is what I had done.
After decades of having sinus infections that got continually worse and doing everything ever suggested by every ENT in the city I live in, and eating every
Antibiotic known to man with no success. I decided after seeing the close proximitey of my teeth to the sinus cavities, and having the teeth suggested as the possible culprit to have the cavitat done. Since I had no outward dental problems or pain, I didn't know which if any might be the problem. As it turned out, the area they found to be a problem wasn't near the sinus cavities, but the jaw bone was infected to the point of the bone being a mushy consistancy. This was cleaned out down to the good bone.
Shortly after I had all the
root canals removed, one of which on the top had punctured one of the sinus cavities. Also had all the
Amalgam fillings replaced. After all that I haven't had a sinus infection since, and many other health problems have disapeared or gotten better.
Each tooth in your mouth is connected to some organ or other part of your body. If the teeth are bad, it can affect the rest of your body.
