MCS Sign Project

The purpose of this message is to help meet a need of my fellow MCS sufferers.

Please feel free to forward and distribute this email to other MCS groups, newsletters and individuals.

Dear Fellow MCS Sufferer,

Some of you may have already received your "MCS Door Sign" in
the mail. So far, everyone is telling me that they are great and
really met their need and expressed what "Fragrance Free" really
means before someone can come into your house of workplace..

"SCENT FREE ZONE" signs are 8 1/2 x 11 on solid medium colored yellow cardstock with black letters ... it is not laminated since it is for indoor use and ready to tack up in either your home or workplace.

The one for your home is in tasteful color and professionally
laminated. "YOUR PERFUME IS MY POISON" is on the top and an
explanation of what Fragrance Free really means, so people do not
come in thinking they are fragrance free but wearing fragranced
products. Yea... we all know what that is like !!! This sign is to
tack above your door bell, on your door or in a noticeable place at
outside entry area of your home.

Both signs are tastefully done, directly to the point and being liked by everyone who has requested and received them. That's what they are telling me anyway!

How much for a sign you ask? Your donation.
The funding of this effort is financed by my own social security check. This is NOT an effort for me to make a profit ... it is a effort to help meet another need of fellow MCS'ers.

Most Sincerely,
Kathleen Houghton -- a.k.a. MCS Kathy in Alaska

Remember: Doctors never diagnose a patient with an illness or disease they don't believe exists!

MCS --- If I were to tell someone that I had Cancer or Multiple Sclerosis lets say, that person I'm talking to can accept this in a detached, impersonal way. They usually are not challenged personally by the issue. Now if I tell this person that perfumes, scented soaps and fabric softeners make me horribly sick, since he/she most likely use one or more of these products regularly, the issue is immediately personal. To acknowledge the illness and isolation I suffer from they have to also acknowledge that they are part of the cause
