i really feel for you and your husband. my heart goes out to you both for having to deal with such a bad case of pscoriasis. i too, have pscoriasis but only patches on my knees and elbows. i started to get it when i was 20 (i am 38 now) and when i was 21, i decided to go tanning at the new tanning spa that had opened in town just to try it out. of course back then, they really did not talk about the harmful effects of the tanning bed. about a month after i started going, my pscoriasis disappeared. i kept going to the tanning bed for about 3 more years before deciding to discontinue tanning forever due to the risks of tanning beds, etc. about a year later, i started to get the pscoriasis back :( and have had it on my knees and elbows ever since. i have tried everything to heal it, including prescription meds. nothing has helped thus far so i finally decided to break down and buy one of those facial tanners to use and direct it right onto my knees and elbows. i have used it once today and already my pscoriasis is a lighter shade of red. i know that tanning beds are so harmful but i am so sick of dealing with this. has your husband ever tried a tanning bed to heal his pscoriasis? i was just curious. i know back when i was going to the tanning bed years ago, i had a friend that i worked with who suddenly came down with pscoriasis all over her body. she was covered with it within a span of one months time (it was very strange). she went tanning and it disappeared almost completely within a week. i wish you and everyone else (including myself) lots of luck and prayers in getting rid of this dreadful disease.
