Sleep Apnea and Fibromyalgia

Ok after reading the thread i started about Medical records i went and looked through mine again before bed last night. Well i was looking through and one thing caught my eye. My Rheumatolgist who diagnosed me with Fibro said that i "Denied snoring" and that i showed no symptoms of Sleep Apnea. Well here is the real story. He asked if i snored and i said how would i know if i snored if i am sleeping. He asked if i had anyone to watch me and i said no. I then said i will try Amptryptiline and if that doesnt work i want a sleep test. He agreed. Well i go back 2-3 weeks later and tell him i want a sleep test. He laughs and says this amytriptiline is all great etc. I say it isnt doing anything. I also say i took the "Sleep Apnea" test off the Hospital website and that it said i have possible Sleep Apnea. He laughed and said why waste all that money. Serious total 180 from 2 weeks previous. This always stuck with me but i never made a big deal out of it because he was one of the few Dr.s i trusted. I was also getting embarrased about all the doctor visits, and i basicaly was sick of going and the way i was getting treated my self esteem really was taking a hit. So i basically trusted the guy and dropped it. Well i havent slept well in over 2 years if not longer. I took the test again last night and it said i have possible Sleep Apnea. Add in the fact alot of things i have read have said some experts believe Sleep Apnea can cause Fibromyalgia and its about time i think i go in.

Now to be honest i have always thought i have had it and after the events of the past days(all the lies and cover-ups in my records) i am seriously thinking of going in and having a test. The Dr. puts in total falsehoods and i know for a fact i told him i thought i had it and i wanted a test. I figure what the hell could it hurt now. If they laugh they laugh. The hospital basically doesnt do anything for me anymore as i am just a hypochondriac who needs a Phyciatrist.

Any thoughts or opinions? The site gave me a number to call and i am thinking about calling.
