Re: Genesis - Adam and Eve

It’s believed that the book of Genesis was written by Moses approx 1440 BC.

1. Genesis is an amazing story that informs us of the creation of the world.
2. Genesis tells us that God created Heaven, Earth, Night, day and all living creatures.
3. Man was formed from the ground, (Adam). He was created in the image of God.
4. God created woman from Adam, (Eve).
5. God tells Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree of knowledge but they can eat all other manner of food from the garden.
6. The serpent in the garden deceives Eve and her and Adam eat fruit from the tree of knowledge.
7. The Lord God cursed the serpent above all other wildlife.
8. God tells Eve she will suffer painful labour.
9. God tells Adam he will toil the land to feed himself and feed Eve.
10. As Adam and Eve had committed sin eating from the tree God banished them from the Garden of Eden.
