How to control and cure Seborrheic Dermatitis (Seborrhea) (SD)?

How to control and cure Seborrheic Dermatitis (Seborrhea)?

“We can ignore reality, but we cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.”
- Ayn Rand

This is the most frequently asked question I get.

On this page I will disclose to you the "secret" of controlling and curing Seborrheic Dermatitis.

Why is this information "secret"? For who is this knowledge "secret"?

This knowledge is unavailable to your dermatologist, because he is not allowed to know this. If he would know this, he would possibly stop prescribing medications, and by doing so he would have shaken the money and the power structures that control medical profession. No he probably would not, cause he is just one person, but if many dermatologists would learn this, that would be a problem. Those structures are ready to do anything in their power to keep this kind of information hidden from the majority of doctors and from you. Your doctor is most likely brainwashed into believing that the cause of Seborrheic Dermatitis is unknown, and that Seborrheic Dermatitis is incurable disease, and can only be treated by medications, but never cured, unless it disappears on its own.
As long as your doctor share those beliefs, he or she will keep prescribing the medications that treat the symptoms, but will never address the underlying causes. In other words, you will be the slave of the pharmaceutical industry. And, your doctor will also keep brainwashing you and all of his patients into believing that Seborrheic Dermatitis is incurable, and that the real cause is unknown. So, it is time you forget everything you have ever heard from your doctor, as it is more than likely he has no slightest idea about how to cure Seborrheic Dermatitis. If he actually knew how to cure it, you most likely would have not been on this page reading this.

What group of people do you belong to?

There are generally 2 main groups of people.

If you belong to a larger group, you are one of those people who take painkillers when you get a headache or a back pain or a leg pain. When you get ear infection or throat infection or lung infection or cold or flu, you ask your doctor for Antibiotics . When you have acid reflux, you take acid blockers. When you are constipated, you ask your doctor to give you something for constipation. When you get acne, your doctor gives you Antibiotics or other medications for acne. In other words, since you were a baby, you have been conditioned to believe that every symptom you get, is just a sign that you need a medication that will quickly suppress that symptom. People who belong to this group can live their whole life in blissful ignorance about what is the real cause of their health problems, and are genuinely surprised when they are suddenly diagnosed with some chronic or severe disease, never really understand it was just a consequence of their earlier lifestyle choices.

If you belong to the smaller group of people, you believe that every symptom and every health problem you experience is there to teach you something. It is a message your body is sending to you. It might teach you that you should stress less, sleep more, or that maybe food or drinks you consumed yesterday or today were not really good for you. You learn from your own mistakes, and you have discipline and knowledge to keep yourself healthy without ever needing prescription medications. You are conscious of everything you do, you understand that every meal you take, every drink you take, every visit to a dentist, or every visit to a restaurant may have far reaching consequences on your future health.

“The truth is not for all men but only for those who seek it.”
- Ayn Rand

My research on Seborrheic Dermatitis led me to believe that approximately 90% of people with Seborrheic Dermatitis are not ready to make a major changes in their lifestyle, changes that are needed, if they really want to become free from SD. They generally belong to the larger group of people who prefer to live in blissful ignorance.

So, if you are one of those 90%, you should know that this page is not created for you, it is written for the other 10% of people who are really sick and tired of treating SD topically, and are willing to invest some time and some energy in healing what needs to be healed so they actually live symptoms-free life.
So, if you are the one who belongs to the larger group, but are ready to move into the smaller group, group that values knowledge, keep reading.

Let me first answer the most important questions.

What are the underlying causes of Seborrheic Dermatitis? How did you get Seborrheic Dermatitis? Why did you get Seborrheic Dermatitis? Underlying causative factors?

Seborrheic Dermatitis is just one way how allergies and food intolerances are manifested on your skin. And, not only food intolerances and/or allergies. There are also other factors. Microorganisms also play an important factor in generating some of the more severe symptoms of SD.
Fungus is a factor in more severe cases, but allergies and food intolerances are the primary triggers.

How?

Once your skin has been weaken by foreign proteins that have entered your bloodstream, like for example molecules of foods or anything else you are allergic to or intolerant of, that is how you may develop the first symptoms of Seb-derm.
The most common symptoms are inflamed skin, redness, and skin peeling.

After that, the next step is fungus that may start growing on your skin, causing further irritation and inflammation and making the symptoms even worse. When you see people with bright red patches on their face, that is usually not just food intolerances and/or allergies, but fungus may also play a role there. Because of the fungus, symptoms also tend to look like an infectious skin disease, and that is the reason why many people have problems making the connection with other underlying problems, like with allergies.

But, without allergies or food intolerances, fungus would have no power to infect your skin, so instead of just treating the fungus, you must also address the underlying causes, allergies and/or intolerances and also anything else that affects immunity of your skin, including but not limiting to factors like stress, depression, lifestyle, environment, sleep, emotions, etc.

How to naturally kill fungus and calm the inflamed skin?
Before you find out what triggers your seb-derm, you may be able to at least kill the fungus that is making it worse.
There is a huge number of natural anti inflammatory and antimicrobials that were of a great help to many people with Seb-Derm.

The most popular and the most effective topical remedies easily available are:

1. unrefined Sea Salt dissolved in water like a face or skin wash (not more salty than sea water)
2. natural apple cider vinegar (with "mother") diluted with water, do not use it undiluted, it may burn your skin
3. live or pasteurized milk yogurt, diluted or undiluted, try both
4. Borax, dissolved in water, as a face or skin wash
5. Epsom Salts dissolved in water, as a face or skin wash
6. Cucumber juice, freshly juiced
7. Wash your skin with Colloidal Silver or Colloidal Gold

Applying one of these to your skin may result in a complete disappearance of seb-derm, at least for a few days, weeks or months until you learn about your primary triggers. Yes, you can wash your face or your scalp with those remedies every day.
You can soak your skin in those remedies for several hours, if possible.
Yes, you do not need steroids, all you need are things readily available in your kitchen, or if not in your kitchen, you can get it in a local grocery store or online on Amazon.

All of those remedies are effective fungus/bacteria killers, and beside killing bad microorganisms, those remedies also are natural anti inflammatory.

People with severe Seb-Derm have experienced total disappearance of symptoms within just 6-12 hours of using those remedies.

Why 7 different remedies? Am I supposed to use all 7 remedies the same day ?

No. One per day!

No remedy works for every single person. If you are one of those people for who unrefined Sea Salt is of no help or even makes thing worse, you should try apple cider vinegar or live yogurt. Bacteria in live yogurt is extremely powerful antifungal and antimicrobial, and helps to many people with skin infections. You are suppose to try one remedy per day, to find out if it works for you. Use the one that works the best for you.

So, where does food intolerances and/or allergies come from?

Food intolerances and/or allergies have a lot to do with your digestion and increased intestinal permeability, also called leaky gut. There are also other ways how to develop allergies, other than increased intestinal permeability, one very common is vaccination. increased intestinal permeability is a direct consequence of dysbiosis, and dysbiosis is a direct consequence of Antibiotic use, poor diet and possibly use of other medications and other products of chemical industry. Another important factor in dysbiosis and in increased intestinal permeability is liver function. Impaired liver function is also a cause of dysbiosis and is also a consequence of dysbiosis, a consequence of Antibiotics , poor diet etc.

So, as you can see, the picture is kind of complicated, that is the main reason why so many people are struggling to understand it, and without understanding the cause, you cannot cure the problem.

I will list here all of the important factors leading to Seborrheic Dermatitis:

- vaccinations ;
- antibiotics ;
- intestinal dysbiosis (loss of intestinal microbiom, leading to skin dysbiosis)
- increased intestinal permeability, popularly called leaky gut ;
- Food intolerances ;
- allergies ;
- Impaired liver function ;

So, how do I cure Seborrheic Dermatitis ?

You can not cure Seborrheic Dermatitis without curing things leading to it, and these are: dysbiosis, increased intestinal permeability, food intolerances, allergies, impaired liver function.

What is dysbiosis ?

There are about 1000 different species of microorganisms living inside digestive tract of a healthy human. Those microorganisms are called intestinal microbiom. Those 1000 different species have to be a in a relatively perfect balance in order for you to have a good digestion and good health. And, when one person is extremely healthy, that is usually a sign that his/her intestinal microbiom is in perfect balance.
When a part of the human microbiota, such as the skin flora, gut flora, or vaginal flora, becomes deranged, with normally dominating species underrepresented and normally outcompeted or contained species increasing to fill the void, than you have dysbiosis.

When people start taking vaccines, antibiotics, artificial hormones, hormonal birth prevention, other medications, other products of chemical industry like pesticides, fungicides, taste enhancers , food preservatives designed to kill microorganisms, chlorinated water (chlorine is added to water in order to kill microorganisms), pasteurized and sterilized foods, etc, the final possible result of this experiment is a chronic intestinal dysbiosis.

You have reached the state of chronic intestinal dysbiosis once your digestive tract is unable to naturally reestablish the perfect balance between normally dominating species and naturally outcompete normally outcompeted species.
The major consequences of chronic intestinal dysbiosis are increased intestinal permeability, food intolerances, food allergies , and in severe cases, chronic dysbiosis may lead to Ulcerative Colitis, Chronis Disease, Colon Cancer, Diverticulitis, and life threatening infections like Clostridium Dificille.

What is increased intestinal permeability ? What is leaky gut?

Healthy intestines are suppose to be partially permeable. Intestinal permeability is a term describing the control of material passing from inside the gastrointestinal tract through the cells lining the gut wall, into the rest of the body. Food that has been properly digested inside our intestines, is suppose to be absorbed by intestines and transported by bloodstream through portal vein directly into your liver. When intestines are working properly, they are absorbing only small molecules, like molecules of water, molecules of digested food like minerals, amino acids (building blocks proteins are made of), fatty acids (building blocks fats are made of) and simple sugars (building blocks complex sugars are made of).

Microorganisms, beside aiding digestion, also help keep your intestines healthy and help keep correct intestinal permeability.

Once the balance between microorganisms have been destroyed beyond the ability to be spontaneously repaired, some new microorganisms may take the place previously occupied by the good ones, like fungal form of Candida albicans, and toxins produced by those "bad" microorganisms may damage intestines even more, more than they have already been damaged by, for example, antibiotics and other products of chemical industry.

That is a very poor and very short story how you develop increased intestinal permeability. Books are written on this subject, if you are really interested to learn more.

Once your intestines have become highly permeable, large molecules like proteins may enter your blood stream, leading to development of a new food allergies , and you have got a perfect storm or a perfect cocktail of factors leading to Seborrheic dermatitis. (and not only to Seborrheic dermatitis.)

So, from now on, I will not be talking much about Seborrheic Dermatitis, as that is just a consequence of the other BIG 5 underlying and serious problems.

Instead, I will be talking about how to cure the BIG 5 :

1. intestinal dysbiosis ;
2. increased intestinal permeability ;
3 food intolerances ;
4 allergies (both allergies to food and allergies to other environmental factors like pollen or rubber or cosmetics) ;
5 impaired liver function ;

Once you have cured the intestinal dysbiosis, increased intestinal permeability, food intolerances, allergies and impaired liver function, Seborrheic Dermatitis disappears as if it has never existed.

Sometimes, elimination just one of those is enough to make Seborrheic Dermatitis disappear.

Like, sometimes, it is enough to eliminate the allergen, or to eliminate the food you are intolerant of, and Seborrheic Dermatitis disappears.
There are many people who cured their Seborrheic Dermatitis by eliminating milk products or wheat or alcohol and processed sugars from their diet. Or, if you are allergic to cats, getting rid of a cat may be more than enough to get rid of Seb-derm.

But, for some people, eliminating just one allergen, or one dietary trigger may not be enough, and they may need much more work.

“This power of choice means that we are not merely a product of our past or of our genes; we are not a product of how other people treat us. They unquestionably influence us, but they do not determine us. We are self-determining through our choices. If we have given away our present to the past, do we need to give away our future also?”
- Stephen R. Covey, The 8th Habit: From Effectiveness to Greatness

The BIG 5 underlying problems are not only the underlying cause of Seborrheic Dermatitis, they are also the underlying cause of over 90% of all modern chronically diseases, including but not limiting to: acne, eczema, asthma, Rheumatoid Arthritis , depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, Candida, athletes foot, diabetes, ulcerative colitis, crohns disease, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, many forms of cancer, and many other health problems.

What about Genes?

Yes, your genes play a role here, and your genes are one of the reasons why you actually got SD, but you did not get Acne, or Psoriasis or Exfoliative Cheilitis, or Eczema, or Diabetes or Rheumatoid Arthritis or Asthma or Cancer or whatever else.

Or, maybe you also got some of other problems listed above.

Nevertheless, consider it a blessing you actually have a genetic predisposition for SD, cause one of the alternative health problems you may have gotten is actually a Skin Cancer or Multiple Sclerosis, or Diabetes ... and if you know anything about those diseases, you should know that having SD is a blessing in comparison.

Is it your fault you got SD?

Yes and no. You were actually programmed to get SD maybe even by your great grandmother or your mother.

How?

If your maternal grandmother have ever taken a vaccine or an Antibiotic or an artificial hormone or any other prescription medication during her childhood or during any time before giving birth to your mother, than that was one of the reasons why you have SD today.
And if your mother have ever taken a vaccine or an Antibiotic or an artificial hormone or any other prescription medication during her childhood or during any time before giving birth to you, than that was another reasons why you have SD today.
And, none of it is your fault. You cannot go back in time and change that.
Now, if you have ever taken a vaccine or an antibiotic or an artificial hormone or any other prescription medication during your childhood or during any time before actually developing SD, that is another reasons why you may still have SD today. Even if you have never taken any prescription medication in your life, but your parents or grandparents did, that may just be enough.

And, guess what. Most of it was probably not your own fault. Even if it was, if you knew that medication you were taking will increase the chances of developing SD, still, you cannot go back in time and change your decision.

But, you can definitively learn from your mistakes. The first step in learning anything is becoming aware of your own ignorance.
If you are interested in learning how Antibiotics and Vaccines and other prescription medications affect your health, please watch my video on Allergies here:

Now, I assume you have listen to my video, and you have read the newsletters, so I do not have to give you any more explanation on how people develop allergies and intolerances, or what happens with your intestinal microbiom when you repeatedly take vaccines and antibiotics, or what happens to your liver when you repeatedly take vaccines, antibiotics, artificial hormones or any other prescription medications.

Now you may still ask a question: "OK, I understand the intestines, and the liver and the antibiotics and the diet , but what does all of it have to do with my face?"

Why did I get SD on my face?

Because it was your weakest point. Some people get SD on some other part of their skin, but majority gets it on their face.
Chain breaks at the weakest point. And, there is also another reason.
We humans, we advertise our inner health on our skin, and especially on our face, our eyes, our hair, our nails our teeth, our gums, our tongue .

By having SD on your face, you are adverting: "I have problems with my internal organs." or "I am not healthy!"
There is an evolutionary advantage in advertising your health to other people. It is advantage for the whole species of humans, not an advantage for you.

If you are a man with SD, by you advertising that your are unhealthy, you prevent potential females to have sex with you, and instead they will choose to have sex with another guy, a guy that is more healthy, and more likely to give them healthy offspring.

The same is for the girls. Guys are more likely to choose to have sex and also to have offspring with a girl who have healthy skin.
On a long run, across 10,000 generations this will become an evolutionary advantage. That is why it is built into our genes.

Our face and our skin and our eyes and our nails and our teeth are our dashboard where we advertise our inner health.

So, let's now cure the big 5, and by curing the big 5, lets cure the seb-derm.

Cueing Seborrheic Dermatitis

Find out if foods and cosmetics you are using are your triggers.

1. Eliminate all cosmetics and all laundry detergents for at least 60 days or longer, to make sure cosmetics like toothpaste, shampoo and soap are not your triggers. Wash your hair and your body with Borax or with salty water.
Try Epsom Salts bath or Sea Salt bath. You can brush your teeth with sea salt dissolved in water or with baking soda.

2. Start the total Elimination-Rotation Diet and find out if any food is your trigger! For over 90% of people, at least one food is a trigger.
The most common dietary triggers of Seb-Derm are: sugar, alcohol, milk, wheat, gluten, fish, shrimps, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, corn, oranges, strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes, margarine, industrially processed foods, foods fried in deep oil.

3. start Liver Flushing to help your liver recover. The most popular Liver Flush is the one suggested by Hulda Clark .
You need: Epsom Salts (4 tablespoons), half cup of Extra-Virgin Olive-Oil and half cup of fresh grapefruit juice or some other juice like orange or lemon or lime.
You need to flush your liver at least 10-20 times to help your liver and your intestines recover. One flush every 2-3 weeks.

4. start with coffee enemas, to help both your liver and your intestines recover

5. start regular exercises, at least try waling in nature several hours every or every second day

Eliminate anything you suspect as a trigger, to see if it is a trigger.

If you are still having problems with Seb-Derm after trying the steps 1-5, try the more advanced steps, 6-11

6. consider the possibility that dental metal may be a trigger factor, if you have many dental metal fillings or if your wear braces or retainers.

7. try juice fasting ;

8. try Fecal Transplant ;

9. try Water Fasting ;

10. Get Comprehensive Allergy test, testing for at least 100 if not 300 allergens, and avoid all allergens, if possible

11. try traditional Chinese medicine ;

12. try working with some good practitioner of holistic medicine

Follow the links given to learn more about each one of the suggested procedures or remedies.

Ask me questions, if something is unclear.
I will be updating this article, as time goes, this is just a first version.
