Can iodine cause dehydration? Low aldosterone? Hyperthyroidism?

For unknown reasons, I have dehydration symptoms with increased urination all my life (even with proper drinking), but Iodine supplementation seems to make this much worse.

Does Iodine affect aldosterone levels? Or maybie antagonise some minerals involved in water metabolism (sodium, phosphorus)?

Or am I just going hyperthyroid?

Have you experienced dehydration on iodine?
