Re: Albendazole & praziquantel resistance?

Hi,

I thought I had Tapeworm for the past year, but am not so sure now - Because I don't see segments in my stool.

It was my understanding that prazi and albendazole kill Tapeworm eggs, but not adults.

Niclosamide and nitazoxanide are 2 meds that I've seen for that...and there are other older meds that may be more dangerous.

I looked for nitazoxanide (alinia) but can't find a Dr to prescribe it.

I did find Niclosamide from another country.

Interestingly, I feel better when I take prazi and albendazole as well, and go back to the pain and twitching when I stop.

See ICU's protocol for Tapeworm.
