Ovarian cyst-alternate therapies?

I recently found out i had ovarian cysts. I had my appendix removed laproscopically and was told I now have cysts, one which doubled my left overy in size, and that the cysts bursting on my right ovary had contributed to my appendix needing removal.

I had what i thought was a gastro bug, severe pain and nausea and (alongside the stabbing of my appendix) I'd felt a poppign sensation within which was apparently my burst and bleeding cysts.

Bit of background, I used to be on birth control but due to the BC being only usable for a few years i had to come off. It controlled my periods, Acne and hormones but since coming off my periods have been more painful and heavier and the last few months-very severe pain. Also i am terribly hormonal, i cry at everything.

I've also noticed that despite losing weight due to not eating as much my waistling has thicked to give me a small bump and bulge which often bloats where my uterus/ovaries are.

I can't use BC again and I want to try to control or treat this. My GP is brushign it aside telling me cysts are painless (yeah right) and that they don't affect fertility but I'm concerned.

Another note is, unlike a lot of people i've spoken too, my cysts weren't apparent until a laporoscopy was done then my ovaries were seen to be riddled with them.

I'd like to try some other therapies, someone has suggested a Zoisite crystal to me? Does anyone else have any ideas or experience with this please?
