Thanks for the insight zoogirl, much appreciated. The fear of farting thing is incase I follow through really lol! It is all very confusing really because my close family all swear they can't smell anything and said they would not let me walk round stinking and have people talking about me.

If you don't mind me asking, have people actually approached you directly and told you you smell or do you just overhear people suggesting you do? I have not been tested for tmau but I am pretty sure this ain't the problem to be honest.
