Yes, I bought some metal plates that are exactly like the ones badfungi made (if I remember correctly, his are the metal plates with prongs and a plastic base). I didn't feel up to making them myself so I bought it from indianinthemachine.com for 175$ and then got the battery charger for $10 on amazon. It works like a charm! I love it. Also I experiemented with using two stainless steel kitchen spoons or hanles removed from a pan and it works like a charm too. The main thing is that if you have the tub of hot water with a pinch of Sea Salt in it and a couple of stainless metal things sticking in the water kind of close together and the $10 battery charger clips clipped onto the ends of the metal kitchen spoons or whatever you chose to use, then you will know you achieved success when you see the water begin to bubble between the two stainless steel kitchen spoons, I tried it myself and it works.
