Candida and Sleep Apnea

My husband is scheduled for the sleep lab in a couple weeks. We "think" he has sleep apnea. We are certain he has candida. We have read there is a link between the two, but if he can sleep while he is clearing up the candida, that would be GREAT! He can't heal anything w/o proper sleep!!
We are simply wondering if there is anything else we can do.
His blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels are normal. He is (and has built up to all of this over several months) drinking green smoothies, eats as pure as possible in general. He takes extra virgin coconut oil daily, Vic C, E and a multi vitamin. Eats raw garlic, and takes oil of oregano oil under the tongue. He does this drink that has (I think) baking soda, lemon, and vit c powder in it. Takes greens powder. Doesn't eat pork or red meat. Right now is staying away from fruits except bitter ones, eats chicken and eggs. (an egg every morning) No potatoes, he is gluten intolerant, and doesn't do corn right now. I'm sure I'm missing something. His PH is 6.25-6.5 even with all he does. He doesn't drink, smoke (use to years ago) He gave up coffee and only drinks water or the occasional herbal tea.
This man should be the picture of good health! Yet he is about to fall over. We are hoping the sleep lab will offer help, but would love to know if there is anything else we could possibly be looking over.
We have tried about everything known to man as far as "natural" sleep helps.
Thanks for any advice. =)

p.s. A holistic DR. told him his liver is in need of a detox. My husband has done Dr. Clarks Liver Flush 4 times, and is now doing an herbal cleanse according to what the Dr. suggested.

This is a post of mine that I had posted in another part of cure zone. I understand many people have different opinions about sleep labs, what foods to eat and when, etc. Some say raw foods only, others say pork is okay.
We are simply average people wanting to live, and live with vibrant health! So we continue to read and ask.
I do not go to a regular doctor, and the above I mentioned is a chiropractor who deals with holistic measures, and by holistic I mean not modern medicines.
I feel we eat pretty naturally, the best we can. "If God did not grow it, don't eat it" kind of thing.
My husband nor I want him to go to a sleep lab, but we don't want him to have a heart attack either.
We have read about the human body, health, what the CDC and FDA says are "good" and what really is, the healing herbs/foods God has given us, PH levels, etc for about 8 years.
I understand others might do something different that we do and what we do may not be the right think. Everyone keeps saying to go this direction or that direction. We are trying to make sense, but we do not have lack of effort, that is for sure.
So please, if you can offer advice, wonderful. I am sure we are not perfect in what we do, but I know we have done what God has directed us to do.
oh, and I do know and understand we all have candida in our bodies and that we need it to live. I am referring to over growth.
