I don't have a good opinion of most medical personnel. Here's an example of my bad experience. About seven years ago, when this sickness was really taking hold of me, I went to an emergency clinic with yet another throat infection. I told them I noticed a lot of thick mucous at the back of my throat that smelled like fish. I asked if it was possible to have a yeast infection in the throat. Instead of talking to me about thrush, she asked me if I was a lesbian. How's that for you? Tweet
