Which b vitamins did you take and at what doses ?
.....
In 2008-2009 after some research I used an extra high dose combination of Biotin, Silica, and Zinc to stop hair loss and regrow natural colored hair on my head.
The dosage chosen was 3-4 times the recommended amount because I thought that the prolonged deficiency of certain nutrients needed a consistent flood of material to reset the bodily functions back to normal operations with the confidence of readily available material as needed.
I took the following for the first 2 months.
Biotin: NOW brand capsules of 5,000 mcg each -- 4 caps x 3 times per day
Silica: Flora brand of Vegitil Silica capsules 4.7 mg. each -- 3 caps x 3 times per day
Chelated Zinc: Natural Factors tablets 25 mg.? perhaps higher? each -- 3 times per day
I continued my nutrient program for about six months but tapered the dosage down a bit
after the first 2 months (because I was seeing great results and figured I had saturated any
body deficiencies which would only need maintenance supplies to continue performing
properly).
I reduced my dosage again at the 4 month point and stopped after about 6 months.

B-complex vitamins help to recycle glutathione in the body.
Liver is a source of b-complex and catalase (another antioxidant enzyme)
I read about a couple in their 80s who recovered their original hair colour with a high dose b-complex supplement very quickly, every thought they dyed their hair.
So you are eating between 2 to 4 ounces of liver per day with onions ?
....
To repeat..I cut the raw liver into pieces of between 1 ½ and 2 ounces before cooking, so each day I would eat 1 or 2 pieces . The onions were only as an original flavor enhancement and not relevant after cooking.(Of course they were edible and may be eaten any time or removed and eaten with other food. They are not required for the process to work. Perhaps you want a condiment with your daily liver; your choice.)

How does your diet look like ? How many meals per day ? What do the meals contain ?
....
I haven’t eaten breakfast in probably 30 years. When I retired 19 years ago, I morphed that into what is now called intermittent fasting. I do not eat solid food between 8 pm. And 12 noon. This came about when I read about the various body organs and the different times of day that each organ tries to do internal maintenance and repair. Why would you want your body distracted from efficient maintenance and repair just so you can scarf down a burger at midnight or some other odd hour?
So food is eaten between noon and 8 pm. I break that 8 hour segment into 4- 2 hour periods which can contain meals or snacks. (3 and 1, 2 and 2, whatever).
As far as my choices in food, it continues to evolve as I try to avoid obviously unhealthy choices but prefer to adapt changes that are both healthy and viable.
I don’t eat out at all. (for at least the last 10 years). I also don’t order food to be delivered.
I buy from the grocery or supermarket and cook and prepare at home.
I avoid gluten and buy gluten-free. I also avoid milk and milk products other than butter.
When I refer to snacks above, I mean fruit, nuts, seeds, or other regular food(meat, veg.) in less quantity that would comprise a meal. I do not buy packaged snacks or fast food.

Do you eat salt ? If so, how much per day and what type ?
....
Salt is an interesting subject. Let me cover that below in a discussion about water.
I use Himalayan pink salt for flavoring some foods.
Himalayan pink salt contains 82 different minerals. Your body uses 70 different minerals.
Table salt just doesn’t cut it.

Do you drink water ? If so, how much per day and what type ?
....
I have used distilled water since 1987, and homemade steam-distilled water since 1995.
I very seldom drink any water. The distilled water is primarily used for food and flavored drink mixes.
Tap water is only used for cleaning and never in food or drink preparation.
I will drink distilled water to take a nutritional or herbal supplement and will use it when the food is to be boiled or a thick mixture to be diluted. Obviously distilled water for herbal teas, and smoothies is preferred.
My view is that drinking water should not be necessary. Humans evolved as fruit eaters and that is where one gets the needed hydration. Similarly, eating a variety of fruit provides all the organic minerals a human body needs. If, however the food nutrition has been corrupted, one searches for both hydration and mineral supplementation. This is where both water and salt come into play.
The human body uses 70 different ORGANIC minerals on a continuous basis in various areas and various quantities. Organic minerals, when dissolved in water, create a slightly salty taste. Therefore, water flowing down from mountain tops with dissolved minerals is an emergency source of both organic minerals and hydration.
All mammals, including humans instinctively know where they last found something salty and will automatically return to that source the next time this instinctual need occurs; expecting this to solve any mineral deficiencies. For humans, snack food companies know this and we have chips, pretzels, cheezies, etc. This is a sort of bait and switch because the mineral a person is deficient in is not likely to be in any of these products anyway. But the hunger is still there, and the expectation of fulfillment is also still there. "Munchies anyone"
