As I sit here and type this message I am in deep pain. In 1992 at the age of 2, I had my gall bladder removed. Durring the surgery, my gall bladder was cut and stones went all over the inside of my body. I was very ill, but was blessed to recover. The Doctor assured me that all stones were removed and that I could go about my life. All these years later I still have moments of chronic pain. Some times certain foods seem to bring it on, but other times the pain hits me out of the blue. It starts on the right side of my chest, just below my rib cage and rises up to my throat, into my tounge, wrapping around my back. I take Benedryl and any pain medication that I may have available. I eat Zantac like candy. I pray for sleep to come and take me away from the pain. Durring this time Nothing I drink or eat will go down. It all comes back up. Nothing passes the point of pain. Then as if magic the pain will disapear, maybe for a month, maybe only for a few hours. I have been poked and prodded and left the medical profession scratching their heads. "Watch your diet and try to decrease your stress level." This is all they have to offer me. Is their anyone out there who has experienced this? Can anyone help me? I am at my wits end. I just want the pain to stop. Any advice would be apreciated.
