Ok.. that might be something worth checking into if the swelling doesn't go away.
I can't remember if mine were infected or not... I don't think they were? I was only 14 when it showed up on a routine exam xray... but I had them out right away. I think my partner's penetrated or broke the tissue when his became impacted and that's what caused the infection.
When I started Iodine it rehashed a chest infection that I thought had went away. It lasted maybe a week and now it's gone again, so maybe your gland will go down. It's weird how it does that.

Its said that these types of things can be detox. If major elimination organs are over burdened or if you have a weakness in a particular organ, then secondary organs like the skin and lungs will be used. Not sure about lymph nodes though.
