Help with my husband's illness
I would greatly appreciate any opinions about my husband's illness. I think he has a hiatal hernia, but not sure. He has had Diabetes, Type I, for many years, and has been using insulin. He has his
Sugar levels fairly leveled out, but not always.
He has had a problem with getting his food down. The valves seem to open and close at the wrong time. He has a lot of gas and phlegm. In the past, he had a lot of acid reflux, but he has changed his diet to mostly vegetarian, and only rarely feels acidic.
Quite often, he says he has air (gas?) in his esophagus, which causes him pain when swallowing food. Usually the food gets past his throat, but gets stuck between the valves. He says he feels full when he has eaten or drunk just a little bit.
I read about something like this being related to neuropathy - the stomach and tissues not functioning well - wondering if that could be the problem.
At first when this started, a few months ago, he felt he had cancer, but now he's not sure. His doctor ordered a barium swallow, but he couldn't get the barium down fast enough, and the doctor had to go to another town, so it was cancelled.
Since then, we have both been taking
Essiac capsules, but some days he can't get it or anything else down.
My husband doesn't want to go back to that doctor, and is very tired of the medical profession.
The last 2 days, he's been throwing up, not just phlegm, but can't hold anything down.
I have cured myself of a fairly serious illness with natural protocols and I was hoping I could find some answers for him, but this seems very serious and I feel really lost.
Any insights whatsoever would be extremely appreciated.
Thanks,
Bleu
