"Life's Blood" Eco Greeting Card by mayah(c)2014 6" X 4.5"
Eco Greeting card made from reused cardboard and foil candy bar wrappers, cloth and thread scraps, beads, and nontoxic glue.
The use of 5 red beads and 5 white beads was purposeful to have the energy of both the 1 and of the 5. Tibetan numerology, as discussed in the book "The Twelve Layers of DNA" by Kryon and Lee Carroll, states that the energy of the number 5 means "Change; A number ruled by Mars in Astrology--a very fast number." I like to think of the two sets of 5 beads as symbolizing "double 5's"--accelerated change.
There are 10 beads altogether; in numerology double digits are added: 1 + 0 =1.
The numerology of the 1, according to Kryon and Carroll, can mean "unity"; it also means "new beginnings" and is a number about "self".
The "flow" of the lines is the flow of life. In physicality this translates for me as life's blood; spiritually, it is flow and connectedness. The beads are placed on the junctures of different pieces of cloth scrap coming together, furthering the connectedness.
My personal interpretation of this art card is "accelerated change and spiritual growth of the individual".
