Eco Greeting Cards
It was so hot last night that I couldn't sleep, so I stayed up all night making greeting cards for fun.

All three cards are made from various left-overs scraps from other art projects--pieces of paper, hole punches, tissue paper, threads, other pieces of "junk" lying around on my art table, beads. A friend gave me the red paper rectangles that were already nicely cut. The foil "money" on the "Abundance" card are chocolate candy wrappers. Nontoxic white glue holds everything together.
A note about the glue, it is Weldbond from Canada. I really really like this glue--not only is it non-toxic, it is Eco Logo certified so it is earth-friendlier; it's the best glue I've ever used. For "Celebration", it was very fun to glob a lot of Weldbond onto the red paper, and then pour the hole punch and other tiny paper scraps out of a baggie, then put another coating of Weldbond on top; wasn't sure what the end result would be until the glue dried clear and shiny.
"Eco Art by mayah" is created with reused materials and earth-friendlier art supplies.
