Leslie Goldman, San Diego, California, Your Enchanted Gardener on the Plant Your Dream Blog shares Campaign to Grow A Healthier Pizza inspiration. Get Engaged helping Uncle Sam Marry "Anti" GMO as we cultivate our grassroots movement growing heirloom seed and ancient grain. The wedding date is in your hands. How will we ever change Washington? I recognized long ago that being against someone or something is not the best way to open up dialogue. I have carried heirloom seeds and ancient grains of wheat and corn in the marches against Monsanto, but my truth is a would rather sit down to an organic meal in their cafeteria in Saint Louis and talk about how it is in their best interest to support Food Reform in America.
My most recent success in helping Uncle Sam Marry Auntie Gmo came as a result of the internet riot that began when lots of people imagined that the Penn State Department of Ag was cracking down on an innocent new Seed Library in Mechanicsburg, PA. I read the clippings. I got scarred too. I felt the Sacred Seeds I love were being assaulted. I wrote that up. then i decided to contact the main people quoted and see what was really said and what was really going on. As a result I now have an umbrella from the Simpson Public Library that houses its seed library of heirloom seeds and soon ancient grain of Kamut® Khorasan wheat. I contacted Johnny Zook, Seed Program Supervisor for the DOA Pennsylvania and found and generous well meaning man who welcomes my thoughts and ideas. Here is my Planting Clarity Wrapup Story of August 18 as it now stands.
Through the generosity of my sponsors and enchanted Garden Members I am putting online My Teachings for the National heirloom Expo 2014. God Willing, my health will continue to improve and I will be able to make this trip in person. I remain Your Enchanted Gardener, Leslie Goldman. August 19, 2014.

HELPING UNCLE SAM MARRY "ANTI" GMO
Will you help build our grassroots movement so that Uncle Sam gives up his unholy relationship with Biotech GMO in the farm bed and gets married to "Anti" (Auntie) GMO. The invitation to the wedding goes out to all who get engaged growing Heirloom seeds and ancient grain. The wedding date is in your hands! Being a matchmaker for this wedding is a job that belongs to all gardeners who want to fulfill the vision of the Founding Gardener Presidents of America the Beautiful. Thousands of new Plant Parents are needed! http://curezone.com/blogs/fm.asp?i=2181365

SEED IS MORE VALUABLE THAN MONEY-LISA STOKKE 20 H
SEEDS: THE NEW MONEY
Lisa Stokke's quote, "Seed is more valuable than money," supports the video I made that proclaims, "Seeds: The New Money."

Special thanks to Michael Potter and Erica Mercer of Eden Foods for providing me the pencils made of Od Worn Out Money that represent the old system of economics that is near Valueless now. Our True wealth is investing in yourself as a Sacred Seed through contact with other Sacred Seeds including seeds of Heirlooms and ancient grains. A true University Education today lies in Caring about Knowing what is in the Foods we are eating. There are many friends today who are pushing for Gov to ensure that we have The Right to Know. Unless people Value Caring they as well as the Know How to Grow Our own food. The Seed Library Movement is my latest hope for restoring Food Reform to America and exporting true Food Democracy to our world.
HOW FAST CAN A DREAM GROW?
How Long did it take for the ancient Kamut® Khorasan Wheat in this pot to grow? About eight days? Two weeks? Four weeks? The way to know is to grow some! We are asked to get engaged in growing Heirloom Seeds and and Ancient Grains before we can imagine Uncle Sam will marry Auntie (Anti) GMO. A shift in consciousness is needed now and this can come through more of us Entering Plant Parenthood.
HOW FAST CAN A DREAM GROW? ~AS FAST AS A BLADE OF GRASS!

Garden Management Journal Entry
I see the Simpson Library-Penn Department of Ag Communications firing up the need for a National Conversation on Seed Saving, Support for Seed Libraries, and GMO Education.
Rosa Parks, decades ago, refused to go to the back of the bus because she knew an injustice was being committed. For this, she is called the Mother of the Freedom Movement. When we who love seeds imagined that the Simpson Seed Library was going to be shut down, emotions went ablaze. Stories about the Simpson Seed Library went viral. People who never heard of Seed Libraries became aware of their existence and got in the conversation. Many of us experienced an affront to Food Justice. This historic event, that began with communications between the Penn Department of Ag and the Simpson Seed Library are inspiring the Seed Freedom Movement. A national conversation about Seed Saving, Support for Seed Libraries, and Gmo Education was initiated, and will continue until clarity comes.
Deeper and intelligent research showed that it was not the intent of the Pennsylvania Department of Ag to shut down the Simpson Seed Library.
This story was corrected within days, however, the conversation was out of the box.
Accepted Protocols were cooperatively agreed upon that will allow the Simpson Seed Library to continue serving. I believe the staff member from the Pennsylvania Department of Ag, Johnny Zook, Seed Program Supervisor, was sincere in his letters that he was wholehearted in favor of more people growing their own food.
What does GMO Education have to do with Seed Saving?
it is crucial we plant the right seeds. We are not going to be the only parties interested in supporting Seed Libraries! Just watch! Newbies to Seed Libraries and Seed Libraries in Public Libraries need to be aware that it is Heirloom Seeds that are essential if we are to improve Local Food Security.
GMO seeds contaminate Heirloom Seeds. To borrow a reference that has been on the internet lately, GMO Seeds are a form of Agri-Terrorism committed against Heirloom Seeds.
This photo was taken in the tent where First lady Michelle Obama stood twenty minutes before at the New Roots IRC garden in San Diego, about 20 minutes from my house. She called the New Roots garden one of her favorites and said the world was watching it. The growers of plants there are from many parts of the world. It is a perfect place for heirloom seeds representing cultural diversity to grow. I hope to rekindle my relationship with this garden soon--Leslie Goldman, Your Enchanted Gardener, August 19, 2014
SEE THIS YOUTUBE AND LISTEN TO THE SONG FOR INSPIRATION
This Youtube has a song by my friend, Stephen Longfellow Fiske.
In the movement toward Food Reform, we sometimes forget that the future we are inviting begins the Seed Dreams we were born to fulfill. That is why it is so important to take Your Sacred Seed Out of the Pizza Box and Plant Your Dream.
Please read these words, listen to the song, and find a dance partner:

OTHER PLANT YOUR DREAM BLOGS IN THIS SERIES
I ordered some memorability from the Simpson Public Library site that arrived August 18, 2014. I would like to take these to The National Heirloom Expo September 9,10,11 in Santa Rosa, Ca, where I will teach as well as participate in a National Seed Library Summit. I went into the garden to plant Ancient Grains of Kamut ® Khorasan wheat today that had been sprouting during the last week. I am planting seeds for clarity around the Simpson Seed Library-Department of Ag Communications. May good come from the communication. May all our work pave the way for Seed Libraries to continue to flourish with the well wishes of all. May a National Conversation emerge in support of Seed Saving, Support for Seed Libraries, and GMO Education. I wrote Plant Your Dream Blogs to contribute to this clarity and good outcomes. Today, I heard from Johnny Zook, Seed Program Supervisor, Penn Department of Ag, and Jonelle Darr, Cumberland County Executive Director, home of the Simpson Seed Library. Darr thanked me for attempting to correct the facts and said, "From what I could see, the information that you have regarding my statements, and the library's actions are correct." Johnny Zook said he liked the story and that I included what needed to be told regarding their communications. Here is the story, "Planting Clarity! Simpson Seed Library and Ag Dept Wrap Up," "Planting Clarity! Simpson Seed Library and Ag Dept Wrap Up," --Leslie Goldman, Your Enchanted Gardener, August 18, 2014.

A COMPREHENSIVE LIST OF CORRESPONDENCE AND PRESS ON THE JOSEPH T. SIMPSON LIBRARY SITE REGARDING THEIR SEED LIBRARY
The Simpson Public Library has done a wonderful job of detailing the main communications about the unfoldment of these events.

A GROWING NUMBER OF SEED LIBRARIES NOW EXIST IN MANY PUBLIC LIBRARIES.
This is the way the Seed Library has been working;
Seed libraries, often located in public libraries or other community gathering points, are institutions created for the purpose of sharing seeds. The idea is that a library patron can “check-out” seeds to grow themselves, let “go-to-seed”, and then return seeds to the library to share with other community members. The seeds circulated at lending libraries are usually regionally-adapted and heirloom (unlike most commercial “hybrid” seeds, so that the next generation of seeds will produce plants similar to the parent plant). The purpose of most seed libraries is to provide an alternative to genetically modified seeds, increase biodiversity and plant resilience, and reconnect local people with their food systems.
More about Seed Libraries are found on the seed library social network site
