Southerners are some of the most helpful people on the face of the earth...

What we don't know will slow us down, but the truth will prevail....
In the spirit of the Southern traditions; I have found that no matter which race is involved the out look and results are much the same.. If not identical!! We all have the same aspirations, hopes and dreams... To progress is in human nature... We all want our children, friends, neighbors and relatives to be content sharing in the human experience(s).... We are all children of GOD; remember that!!!
Southern people were taught to consider others needs... This is really the only thing we as individuals can do other than try to pile more stuff on our plate; is help people!! Yes you heard right, rather than just seeing how much more we can get, look for ways to be of service to others... I think the southern people are some of the friendliest and most amiable people in the world...
What we are going to do is look at some southern people, now and in future blogs and see what made them tick, so to speak... For those of you that do not know any southern people stay tuned and you will learn a thing or too....
Most southern people are ready to help as needed... There were times when some was out of work or had a sick child that food would appear on there doorstep... If someone needed help with a repair or getting in a crop, the neighbors would pitch in and help... The churches had womens auxiliaries that would feed the poor, get cloths for those in need... These were some of the things that were done by the southern people, to help their neighbor(s)...
The Key word is help.... We need that in our vocabulary today... Not wait for the government to come by... This is what should be done by all of us.... It is a much better world when we learn to help our neighbors...
