Why is everybody down on DIXIE???

The History of Dixie, is everything found in the 3rd chapter of Ecclesiastes verses 1 Thur 8... As is all the world!!

Dixie is a land, a place, a dream, a history and one of the best places to live on God's green earth.... So why all the negative press???
Most things people get themselves in an uproar about starts with something they heard or read somewhere.... Most of the time it is bad press, by people who do not know the whole truth... We are for truth here..... The GOD honest truth....
First we must look back at history, which is your/our life story... Many people have said to me[a student of history] it does not make any difference what happened, most of those people are long dead.... Well i can agree with the dead part, but it {history}doesn't make any difference is false, wrong, and incorrect... Why???
Well first it is obvious that everything we are, know, or use came from those who went before us.... History or life story... DUH...
Our language,{or any language} our country, our buildings, Churches, and most other man made things.... Most existed before we got here.... Do the study of history is really who we are, where we came from, and everyone came from somewhere at aometime.... Therefore everyone has a history...
Now the question, could be put do you want to know??? Well i do, and most people want to know... So for you odd balls, who just want to keep there head in the Sand so to speak, go ahead just stop picking on history.... Another little item about history is most of it we had nothing to do with what happened, so just study to understand.... And don't try to rewrite history to suit what you think should have happened.....
We have only to study, read, discuss history..... Not try to change it to suit our personal taste.... So the misinterpretation of history has given DIXIE a bad rap... There is not a thing we can do to change what has happened, a few minutes ago, or many years ago.... So let it go, and stop tiring to blame who ever, and looking for some kind of what can i get out of this?? The correct answer is: the only thing you can get out of history is the knowledge of how you got to where you are, and why!!
Dixie should, be a place where people, live, learn, and help each other to be better neighbors.... DIXIE is a fine place, lets come to know that....
