Poem of life past...
St Petersburg High School was just a tool,
to use in life; so as to be no fool...
We did not know how far we would go,
but the lessons we learned made us grow...
Through many tests, trials and tears,
we went on to pass through many fears...
Thru the years we spent and yearned,
knowing much from what we had learned...
We all went off as if to fly,
and burn a hole up in the sky...
What did we do, except to show,
that through this life we all must go...
If in this world we made a dent,
it is because we were sent...
We went on to show that we can care,
became good neighbors, who can share...
Oh! How did we get to be so smart,
except that we learned to follow our heart...
If by chance we pass these days,
with Solemn thoughts or fun and play...
Yet upon us all; we came to know,
that through this life we all must flow...
Our motto was plain for all to share,
To make it a better place for our having been there!!
So when in Eternal splendors spent,
looking back upon where we went...
Upon our pathway, many memories we made,
That upon these was our future laid...
So in the end, our pathway done,
We will look back at what we have won!
I am Proud & Thankful to have experienced four years at SPHS...
