Police Power VS Individual Liberty, the real answer... by Kerminator .....
When your liberty collides with another then police power kicks in.... When freedom of choice is directed by others... We must learn to recognize our freedom of choice and not give it away in selfishness or fear in the name of security!!

Some years ago I took a college course " The History of American Foreign Policy" during which I did a term paper on "Police power Vs Individual Liberty"....
This will be a reflection on that chain of thought, and the truth that it contained... We must learn that life is a constant battle for each individulal... On the one hand we all have a GOD given free agency... Free to choose what we will do... On the other hand there are those, { there are many who fall into this group} who want to control and direct your life, so that they profit, or it makes them look better...
Some Police power is necessary due to our evil natures.... People will lie, cheat, steal, and even murder to get what they think they want or need... Even some who think that they deserve, what you have more than you do or whatever... Truly there is little if anything that we really deserve in this life; except the opportunity to decide our fate... If you do not understand this then we do need to talk... So we realize that some police powers are necessary in this present day world....
Individual liberties.... We are each given freedom of choice, or a free agency to decide what we will do in this life... This is where we walk a fine line, friend...
When there is too much freedom; the result is the same as not having any freedom... Too much liberty is the same as not having any liberty, thus the law of the Jungle { This is where the biggest, baddest Gorilla takes what ever they want}.... and the end result is the same as total police power or control.....
The whole discussion is some what like a constructive delimia.... That is one where no matter which path you take you are damned.... Damed if you do and damned if you don't.... The key is to strike a balance... moderation and balance serve us all well in this life time.... Too much liberty and we have total anarcky...
Too much police power and we have a totalitarian state... No matter which side of the political fence you come from.... Being in a prison camp under Hitler [Right Wing], was not any better than being in one under Stalin [Left wing].... The results are the same.....
This is a serious subject, one that effects us all; wither we like it or not, until you come to see the point where your liberty begins and ends... Then you will never understand; individual liberty and how police power really exists, and why..... You must understand that, the key is a balance, friend...
Too much of anything is not good.... Moderation is the key, learn to live it, friend....
