I received a wake up call yesterday afternoon, thru an email question from a friend...
The question was short and direct... Just as this person is in real life direct... Which is good , very good!! We all need to hear the truth and recognize it so we can live the real words... I almost cried thinking of that question and the answer...
I like most people go thru life, supposedly living our dreams or ideas; but actually living an almost complete opposite existance.... This is called a paradox.... Saying one thing and doing another... {Very poor judgment and leads to a life of confusion} I must continually rethink my position(s) and action(s)....
I have for the most part tried to life by the truth of my words, {as we all should} and be a responsible adult male... Unfortunately I have missed the boat, more than once.. This is most probably the norm for most people... Therefore if you see yourself here don't be alarmed, you are not alone...
The solution is to recognize the areas that need attention, and correct them... Our modus operandi; is to acknowledge, rethink then make the necessary changes(s) in our lives... This is easier to say than to put into action... Action is where it is...
In my own life I must come to terms with who I am, and where I fit in the grand scheme of things... This is a big order, but that is what ones life is about... We must learn to follow our heart and soul... The mind will direct us, but the still small voice is that which will guide us in the correct paths... (The still small voice; is the conscience of GOD in our lives) Once we can identify with that, and adjust our senses, and attitude(s) then we will see the will of GOD in our lives...
It is a win - win situation... But if you do not seek the guidance and council of the still small voice, you pathway can lead to many troubles and unnecessary pain... You noticed that I said unnecessary pain, as some pain on life is to temper your soul.. For with the pain, you would not know the joy in the morning....
We have moved into some very deep personal issues, but these are part of our life... Don't just let this pass over you, recognize them in your life, and adjust as necessary... This is what I am doing even as I write these words of truth to you..
May GOD bless you my friend, and keep you from evil, that you may not cause pain.... That is my prayer....
Now I must take the apporate action(s) and live my life closer to the will of GOD!!
