Favorite Supplements by YourEnchantedGardener .....

Thanks to friends who helped set up the Pacific Symposium Plant Your Dream Altar. Thanks to my favorite Heart and Soul Pacific Symposium Exhibitors for Sponsoring this extraodinary Altar bringing Healing to All of us. Thanks to New and Renewing Enchanted Garden Members for their Support.

Every one has their favorite supplements,
the tried and true Remedies they use in a jam.

I follow Dr. Bernard Jensen's model primarily.
He was a Great Devotee of Hippocrates,
the Father of Medicine in the West,
who said "Let Food Be Thy Medicine."
In times of need, I turn to supplements.
In this Blog, you will find my thanks
to helpers, and then turn to telling
about my Favorite Supplements
that I get at the Pacific Symposium.

I made MASSIVE advances on DAY ONE
of this year's Pacific Symposium, sponsored by
Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM).
PCOM is one of the leading places to go study
to become a Leading Edge Acupuncturist.
They have a new Doctor's program, a step
beyond the normal license. They have
a wonderful massage program as well.
They like to teach Tui Nai, among other modalities.

I have been doing this Symposium for more than
ten years. It is an amazement how much I have grown
thanks to the Pacific Symposium and my dear friend
Jack Miller, the President of the three campuses
of PCOM. They have campuses in New York, Chicago,
and here where I live in San Diego.

In recent years, I do an Opening and Closing Ceremony
generally. I also create an Altar for the entire Conference
that is, since last year, right across of Registration.

Z'ev Rosenberg, a dear friend, heads the Herb Study
Department of PCOM. He leads an annual walk through canyons
with the students. Z'ev took one look at this year's
Plant Your Dream Altar and said, "You have outdone yourself!"
Z'ev is a master at healing Cancer with TMC. He teaches
at PCOM and has a private practice as well.

I take some credit for the set up, but it is impossible to
create an Enchanted Garden Altar without Many Hands
Working Together. Yesterday, Wednesday,
Mariah Guillot, the regular massage professional
at the Hillcrest Farmers' Market brought his truck
to the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community (EGIC)
around 2. We have worked together on about eight
Enchanted Garden Installations. I have known Mariah
since he was a little boy. He is a Gifted Intuitive
as well.

Mariah was able to carry the Boddhi Tree all my himself
into his truck, and give buckets of Rodriquez
flowers. We also had two of their holiday wreaths.
The Boddhi Tree has been a Star of
this Enchanted Garden for about five years.

Where else can you go and sit under a Boddhi Tree
inside a Hotel? They say The Buddha was Enlightened
sitting under the Boddhi Tree. In our Altar's healing
area, you can lie down, get a ten minute healing of
breathing in live aromatic herbs from Your Enchanted Gardener,
and gather then, sit up and write out your Seed Dreams.

This year, I worked for the first time with
Angelene, one of my Great Allies living at home.
Angelene took five days off work to fully gain from
this tremendous opportunity of study with some of the world's
masters of what is now being called Traditional Medicine.
Some are starting to drop the C, as in TCM. The "C"
is for Chinese. Angelene "lives" Ritual. She also does
massage for a living at the School of Healing Arts.
He is pursuing advanced studies and it was very important
for her to benefit this year from the C.E.U. Credits
that a person receives from attending the Pacific Symposium.

Angelene invited down one of her best friends, Helen,
who met us at the house before we left. Helen works
the Ruby's in Long Beach, I believe. She also has
a natural Feng Shui ability.

When we got to the Caramaran Resort in Pacific Beach,
one of my favorite recommended hangouts, Marea Garcia
was already waiting for us. Marea is a Rock in my life.
She has been a friend for more than a dozen years.

I cannot repay her for her Noble Gifts to me.
Marea slept over the night before BOTH of my Hip Replacements
in 2001 and 2003. She got me to surgery on time.
Marea is a natural born healer who has developed her
own Style. She is licensed under a Massage certification,
yet anyone touched by her, instantly recognizes that
they are in the hands of the Divine.

Morea was with me when I opened by eyes after both
Hip Replacements. She was with me when my blood dropped
below safety. She was with me while I was on the Morphine.
Their are many Undercover Healers in the I.C.U. of the
Thornton Hospital. Marea was invited in to do Reiki
on me while I was still out. She was there with tender
touch, during the first critical hours when I woke up.

Morea Garcia has also traveled with me across country.
Profesor Thomas Lin Yun, spiritual head of the Black Sect
Tantra Buddhist Feng Shui tradition, the Grandmaster,
personally called Marea to his room for healing and massage
at the International Feng Shui Conference we did at the Hilton
back in 2000 or so.

Roger Green, of Feng Shui Seminars, calls her one of the best
in the world. Other high regard comes from many other
of the Pac Sym Presenters for her work.

She sets up right next to our Altar and does her work
for $1.00 a minute. She was working non stop this first
day with a few breaks. Each year the same people come back.
She is a Treasure who all who come her way. Many Presenters
feel her energy from a distance.

I can have some rough edges, especially when setting up
an Enchanted Garden Installation, but this
set up when near flawless. It is a really big job,
and I cannot execute the ideas I hear without lots of help.

Kathy Lunna, who does massage and sensuality training,
also met us at the Caramaran, and gave her energy of support.
Kathy is a tremedous gardener, and Earth Momma. She calls
herself Goddess Lunna.

Mariah left once we were unloaded at the Catamarah.
So here I was, Your Enchanted Gardener and four
incredible healers doing the Set Up of the Pacific
Symposium Plant Your Dream Altar.

I basically called the overall design, but left
special areas to each. Each Woman helped choose
which fabrics to wrap the white flower buckets,
and their individual artistry.

Marea worked with some of the flower arrangements,
as did Anna Varnell, who made a number of bouquets,
back at home. I am a suc*** for any woman who called
me "Hon" and Marea knows how to manage me.

Scott Masters, a beautiful musician and friend at home,
contributed a lovely Quan Yim statute.

Peter Tricarico with Dr. Wang.
Peter was a surprise assist, the final
day, giving us a number of hours of his time.
He really made a difference. Peter planted
a Seed Dream for a revised law in New Jersey
that makes it easier for Acupuncturists to practice there.

We have four different local organic farmers
who supported the Friend of the Farm aspect.
The baskets of each of their foods are displayed
separately with their photos near their food.

In the Enchanted Garden Teachings, "Not knowing
who is growing your food is like being intimate with
a stranger."

I had Joe the Farmer gift us with his heirloom Russian
tomatoes. He gave fresh picked carrots as well that
Kathy picked up on tuesday from the Escondido FM.

These sit under a framed tomato picture of Joe's produce.

Dennis Stowell of Tom King farms, newly organically certified,
gave his lovely hard winter squashes. Dennis is more
concerned with nutrition per acre than profit her acre.
He goes all the way back to working with Alan Chadwick,
I believe.

Steve L White, one of my oldest FM friends and sponsors
gave Citrins, called Buddha's Fingers by some, and a basket
of Lemons and a Sugar Cane.

This year, we also added Helene Beck, whose foods is not
only organic but biodynamic. She has 30 acres in Fallbrook.
Helen gave me carte Blanche to load up anything I wanted
from her stall at the Sunday Hillcrest FM. If the EG Mobile
was not in the shop that day, I would have taken more.
Andrew Rhoades was my helper on Sunday. He picked out
some lovely pomegranates, sapotoes, oranges, pears, a persimmons,
both Fugi, and Fuyu.

It was a joy today to see how deeply appreciated these
foods were.

Gabriel Stux from Germany, one of the world leaders
in acupuncture, had never had a persimmon before.
what a delight. His lovely wife bought a bunch of
The Seven Love Cures.

__

I have been spending money like water
to make this Altar possible.

To the Left end of the table area,
are The Seven Love Cures,
Woman's Health Remedies.
These are words men need to know
and women want to hear.

Day one was a sweet, powerful day
of great interest in these laminated plaques.

To the left of that at the Ground level,
is a large stack of "How Dog Food Saved the Earth"
books, co-authored by Enchanted Garden Sponsor
Anthony Zolezzi.

This is a book given away by donation.

This book has an extremely important message
and belongs in every waiting room.

It is a fictional account of a man who goes looking
for strawberries for his company. He is transformed
and has to quit his job when he discovers the difference
between organically grown berries and pesticide driven.
The book is based on the real life Transformation of
Anthony, who has started many Natural Food Companies,
including Pet Promise--an antibiotic free pet food
tauted by noted M.D. Andrew Weil.

I also have a stack of Whole Food Market Hillcrest brochures.
They donated the main Podium flower arrangement
made by Onnelea, who works their floral department.
This is my third time working with Onnelea, She did
many arrangements for last year's International Feng Shui
Conference in San Diego. She is a successful Vegan
and carries a Hawaiian Goddess aura, and has visited
the Garden here. Ray Kau, the PR head from Hillcrest
Whole Foods, is always a joy to work with. He is very
supportive of my local food efforts.

And NOW to my Favorite Supplements....

I want to thank Kunio Suzuki, of Kenshin
Trading Company. I love the Green Magma brand of Barley grass
and highly recommend this supplement. This is my
green powder supplement of choice. I also love
the Katsu garlic product and find this has improved my
digestion. I also love their Coix supplement--made
with a form of Job's Tears. This also helps my digestion.

Next I want to thank Robb and Kim Howard, of T.I.D. health.
They have been friends as well for many years. They
represent more than 50 supplement companies.
When I went into surgery at the Thornton Hospital, Kim sent me
a WHOLE BOX of supplements from her Best Companies!
She researched what I needed. All I had to do was
shallow. What a friend. I am deeply touched
by the love Kim has shared. It brings tears to my eyes.

My relationship with husband Robb started many years ago
when I started bringing him
Milk Thistle seeds from my garden. I like the products
that have Sylamarin (Sp!) for the liver.

I will write more about the products I admire from
T.I.D.this year. They always have something new
that excites me! They have a service now where they can provide
retail through the mail to all Curezoners. They also
do wholesale.

I also love the products from Health Concern.
Andrew Gaeddert wrote a marvelous book called
"Healing Digestive Disorders." I will write a separate
Blog tomorrow on his latest products that I will
be using in the next six months.

Last night, before I left, I met Bill from Crane
Herb Company in the Foyer. His wife Gerry (I need
to get back on the spelling of her name!) is about
to have her 65th birthday. They are
Enchanted Garden Sponsors. Gerry joined the Club
a number of years back. I will be writing a separate
blog on their herbs I will be using in
the next six months.

The Exhibitor Hall sets up today,
and Opens at noon.

I will keep you posted on new discoveries
that draw me.
