GMO action in Assembly

I see a little amendment here from 2007 to 2006. They are looking at outlawing local communities from taking action against GMO's. that is the gist of this.

Looks like there is some little amendment to
take the Seed law back to 2006 that happened
yesterday.

This law will discount the local ordinances that
want to disallow GMO's in our communities.

This law was motivated by Mendocino County
a few years ago where they got together and
outlawed GMO's in their area.
You can read about what they did here:
Now they want to make sure that local communities
do not get in the way of GMO's.
That is the intent behind this law that comes up
tomorrow to the Agriculture committee.
I want to get the phone for Florez as well,
but do not have it at my figertips.
