This web site explains the work
of my Soul Ally William Aura
who among his many gifts
is the cocreator of Third Force,
one of the leading groups in the
Smooth Jazz field.

I go back to 1977 or so with WIlliam,
but of course, we go back farther than that
to our Essene and other lifetimes.

I love this project of his,
that helps the Tibetan Refugees.

I highly recommend William Aura to you.
I hope you enjoy reading his journals.

Your Enchanted Gardener

About Us

Unexplainably I've been a fan of Himalayan culture most of my life. Never knew why, but I felt deep down in my bones there was a destiny to fulfill of some sort. Browsing through a magazine In 1998 I read an advertisment from the Tibetan Sponsorship Project pleading for individuals to help support the schooling of Tibetan refugees.

After further investigation I was moved to choose a young girl whose ill mother was destitute and could no longer afford her school fees. Her dream, as many in the Tibetan world have, is to rise above her condition, become educated and help her family. The challenges posed on these fine people are enormous. So for two years we exchange letters, report cards and gradually developed a rewarding connection.

Then in late 2001 I heard about a tour group of sponsors taking a pilgrimage to the region to actually visit their students. I knew I must go. So in 2002, with the generous support of family and friends, I traveled throughout Tibet, Nepal and India. This first journey and the subsequent following visits in 2003, 2004 and 2005 initiated a series of journal writings called Aura Communications.
Through these past many years I've introduced you to a host of Tibetan and Nepali students. Most have become very dear friends. Some in America have "heard the call" and graciously chose to sponsor a student while gaining the added benefit of developing deep and long lasting bonds. You know who you are and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your altruistic intention.
What started as a string of letters to my family and a few close friends has now mushroomed to literally hundreds of readers. Numerous kind folks have forwarded these journals and we've received donations for students from total strangers who read about their plight and wanted to assist.

Fascinated by the handicrafts of this rich culture, I particularly became drawn to the art of jewelry making, a hereditary occupation that can go back for generations. Many traditional designs are deeply symbolic. After numerous extended visits to this region, I've been privileged to develop close relationships with families who are among the finest artisans in the Kathmandu Valley.

Through the sales of these treasures, many students have benefited. A portion of your purchase of any Aura Imports item helps provide education for a number of deserving Tibetan and Nepali students. On behalf of these students and their families we are deeply grateful for your continued interest and support.
