Looking at the repeating pattern I express when my life falls apart. First comes the breakdown, then the entry to Soul Power. I described this process in my blog "Shock and Disbelief."

The Little Boy is Out and He is Scared
The little boy is out and he is scared.
Going to the Market feels completely different
without having a love song to sing to you,
and a love song from you to sing me through the lines.
I feel so upset with myself.
Six weeks of work transforming my emotions
and attitudes,
and feelings like this is what I am up to?
I've been so big, and now look at me!
I haven't any answer to address my human condition.
No ideas of this earth can explain
the changes in our relationship.
This is way beyond common sense;
It is impossible to figure this out.
I am not in the moment about this.
I'm having difficulty accepting.
I feel no place to retreat.
I feel no place to go forward.
My spiritual side feels too set apart,
demanding, and grown up a place to handle this.
The physical side of my reality feels like Nakasaki just hit.
I'm squimish. I don't know where to turn.
The only place I feel safe enough to bring
these kind of booboos is you.

This book has a delightful part three
called "Recovering the Prophet inside you,"
a 12 step program for Prophet's in Training.
This inspired a newsletter
called "The Pit Stop," that I wrote for a little pit.
"Pit" stands for Prophets in Training.
