We all tend to take on the energy of our environment no matter what our profession is. We often take on the energy of others, most times without any awareness, perhaps intending to 'deal' with it at a later date, but never quite getting around to it. This taking on of energy is so ingrained in our relationship to others and the world at large that we fail to notice it is happening. That is, of course, until the body gets sick. Many of us go through life thinking we are separate, isolated individuals, not noticing how easily we are affected by the energy of others or our environment. It is only if we begin to stop and question many of the symptoms, emotions, or even thoughts that we currently think of being ours, that we can see they are simply information that we have picked up through the course of our day. I have come to realize that it is the resistance we have to certain information, on an energetic level, that causes us to feel overly tired and judgmental. While we are in resistance to the flow of information, we will experience the environment or people, as stressful or disturbing. This results in our systems getting easily overloaded which in turn reduces both our efficiency and our joy of life. Learning to "love who shows up" is a powerful addition. When we can see how the energy of space is affecting us, and how we are affecting it, we move to a very different level of working with the energies. A major recognition which follows this understanding is that we can actually do something about the energies in the space, simply by changing our own awareness.
