Creative Discomfort
(Plant Your Dream!)

Creative Discomfort by YourEnchantedGardener .....

Self Talk and things to do.

Date:   2/1/2006 10:34:36 AM ( 18 y ago)

Feeling the pains of being
a Creative Genius this morning.

Genius is my nature imbalanced.

The Prophets of ancient times
were by nature far from balanced living.

The things they did,
the acts, were often unkind
to themselves and others
who were closest to them.

I am seeing the by products
of unkindness toward myself this morning.

They are the price from doing too much,
for living in the Creative Realms
so heavily and so often, that the results
are down emotional moments that come
from facing things undone.

I saw a movie not long ago called
"Rhapsody in Blue." It was about
the life of George Gerswin. The film
was likely all made up, but it showed
a man who was so possessed to create
that even while dizzy he used his energy
to bring through some new piece of music.

The Creative Ones often die like this.

Al Jolson, another man, who gave so much joy
through his music, was so imbalanced I hear,
that he would stop people on the street to sing
to them. He had to sing so that perhaps
someone would give him back what he
had difficutly giving to himself--self love.

How many of us can give ourselves this self love?
IT is a lifelong struggle for most of us,
but it is best to go easy on ourselves and just
accept ourselves as we are as we evolve
into more and more balance. Such is the paradox,
in self acceptance, perhaps we will bring
other kinds of life experiences to ourselves.

I am feeling tired for not enough down time.
I have not made good food in my crock pot.
I ended up freezing the protein I wanted to cook
to make a nice soup.

My laundry is in the dryer for more than a day.

I have comments on the board calling me to task
for oversights that showed disrespect to others
because I was so self consumed with my own
needs. I was going too fast.

I have brought into the world another new child,
another new piece of creativity. My first impulse
was to give it away--the 25 copies I made.

[ Self-Talk:

" Leslie, is that True? Your sponsor did sent
you a check for $144.00...

Yes, but that was just to print up some Love Cures
as they were...

Please, Leslie, just trust. Stop being so hard
on yourself"

Stop it, Leslie...
Stop writing...
go clean out the crockpot
and bring up your laundry.

Do the other laminates...

Isn't that something Kathy can do?

Use your time wisely. You are suppose to
leave in 3 1/2 hours for L.A.]
