We had a good housemeeting....

Good Housemeeeting tonight.
Good turnout.
Surprized to see Lauren,
our medical student in grad school.
She worlds at Whole Foods, too.
Jenn was there,
and H, and Anna, and Scott,
and me.
I felt we made some progress on the
Great Earth Cleanup starting with the upstairs
bathroom in the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community.
We read over the list of things that need to be cleaned
by EVERYBODY on a DAILY basis.
We are going to clear the refrigerators and the hallway
and get some active rotation charts up, so the housemates
can mark down what they did...for appreciation.
The smoke alarms, in the closet for two years,
will be put up by Scott, who is also now taking out the compost.
People do not like the feeling that they are the only ones helping out.
It ends up with no one doing anything, and the ones who do some
feeling resentful.
We are going to get microfiber mops for the upstairs bathroom too,
as well the kitchen. Scott will bring them home from work.
N would like to have someone clean along side of her, so she
gets the routine down.
I feel better--after talking to Best Friend--about making sure
that the deferred repairs that need to be done around here
are done before we start counting equity or spliting it.
Felt like running out a buying an ice cream, but settled
for some tea and raw honey.
