I have a ton of things to do right now.
I feel some responsibility to let the community
of San Diego know that some of the world's leading innovative
teachers who are reinventing our entire landscape, design, and architecture--
reinventing the very way many of us will be living 20 years from now--
will be in town this summer.
The teachers and participants from around the world
will be in San Diego for the the 6th International Feng Shui Conference,
August 5-7 with pre and post conferences Aug 4-8. The event will be
held at the Hilton San Diego Resort.

It is time to reinvent Conscious Community Life in my City
and the city where you live.
I say that from someone who was active in San Diego during the
80 when we had the Mandala Conferences that helped midwife
the Holistic Health Movement. I was here when innocence
was everywhere, and excitement was in the air
regarding San Diego as a New Age consciousness
center.
This conference has the seeds for that kind of reawakening.
I would like the San Diego Community to support this event
as we witness to a new energy model of wholeness being born.
I cannot believe that anyone who is invested in Feng Shui as
a career can imagine NOT showing up for this groundbreaking
and integrated EVENT.
"For the Chinese, Feng Shui has traditionally been a way of life. It is both a science and an art that has influenced the shape of Chinese cities, palaces, villages and cemeteries. Feng Shui is the study of the Heavens and the study of Earth in relation to humans. This force, alive in the Universe, was referred to as 'Tao' the natural way, the eternal rhythm of the universe and the way of humanity within it. The Universe is seen as an endless interplay of forces which have the capacity to transmute themselves from matter to energy and back again in an endless drama of creation and destruction"

The conference theme, "Heaven, Earth and Humanity"
comes at a much needed time when the connection between Heaven,
Earth, and Humanity asks to be seen once again.
Did you imagine that Mother Earth was going to continue
to allow us to live in a way that is near completely fragmented
from all Living Systems of health and personal growth?
Feng Shui is an umbrella word that encapsulates
an emerging Model of Healing from inside us to outside us. It goes way beyond anything
Chinese, or for that matter Western.

teachers not by Star Status or their Marketing Know How,
but because of what they are saying and how they are living.
So if you each do not get behind this Conference
and tell others, someone years from now will be
saddened because they missed this because you did not tell them.
Some designers are thinking in terms now of the difference
between a sick building and a healthy building.
Do you not know a designer who needs to be here
to study with a down to earth man among the giants in the field???!!!!

Introduction to Energy efficient Principles used in the design of an energy efficient building. Gareth Cole will demonstrate how the 5 principles used in planning a home so it will be energy efficient. This was developed into a policy a that won a national energy management award . Over 74 councils now use this policy in Australia
Ecological Building Materials and Methods
Gareth will discuss the building materials he selects in the construction of his Eco buildings. You will see a Power point presentation covering each of the main materials used in his buildings. In other words connecting the Principles with simple materials to make the building work Living in Healthy house will be covered including the low toxic house , for allergy suffers and just healthy living.
Energy Systems for Town and Country Areas
Gareth will explain the different types of energy systems used for basic solar hot water through to running power of the grid, grid interactive and ways to design and handle the various systems and issues out in the market especially for remote areas.
Gareth won the silver medal for a house in the desert of Australia that has no water power or sewer connected So water systems, sewer and remote power systems will be covered where you will see what is involved in making your building project alternative or not.
