I have been asking myself these questions
the last couple hours
as I attempt to pick up the pieces
from a Fallen Quicken 2002 Program
that Once Upon A TIME
allowed me to CONNECT
with my Bank and Credit Card
Companies On-line and instantly
see my balance and transactions.
Such is no longer the Way of the World,
and I feel so out of BALANCE.
My choices are to UPgraDE to Tiger
as a Mac Operating System
and then get a NEW REVISED
Quicken 2005 that will certainly
restore by INSTANTEOUS RELATIONSHIP
with my Banking INFO.
Of course if I do that,
I will have to buy a new TIger...$$$..
Operation System before
I ever even get to Upgrade to the Panther..$$$..
OS that has not been outdated.
Then of course, I would have to
INSTALL a new Data Collection program
version so I can still be in the NOW
and see my Calendar...$$$...
Then of course, I would have to
get a new Photoshop Elements
because my current Version
would be antiquated and outmoded.
The Alternative is to purchase
some TIME for around $35.00.
There is a Quicken 2004,
that will MAKE THE CONNECTION
with my Bank BUTT the company that offers that
does not appear to have a SECURE
Credit Card Collection Data page
according to My Mac.
And if you cannot TRUST the INTIIMACY
of YOUR computer to tell you the Truth,
who can you TRUST???
Hopefully My Bank and Quicken
have AGREED to SUPPORT that 2004
for at LEAST two more YEars until
I feel more ready to SWITCH.
Oh well, if I be patient the
folks in AZ will no doubt email me
back within an hour, after all
with 1 BILLION INVENTORY
from 400 Manufacturers available
they certainly have to cut costs
by only doing EMAIL.
In the meantime, I thought maybe I would check
out QUICKBOOKS 2003 SINCE
I ALREADY SPENT THAT MONEY
FOR THAT PROGRAM that sits
in the Closet.
There is a FREE class offered
at the Community College center
in Quickbooks 2003 as one of
in more than 215 Free classes
but no doubt it is for PC's ONLY.
NO Mac's are allowed to Pee
in that Restroom.
For the Quickbooks Class
you get to Choose your LEVel:
from PReBeginner...
to Medium Beginner...
to Advanced Medium
to Advanced Beginner
to Beginner Advanced...
It makes me all feel like a CroMagnum.
When will they offer
Gardening One???
I wonder if Life might not
be a bit simpler.
