Beautiful Persian Women
(Plant Your Dream!)

Beautiful Persian Women by YourEnchantedGardener .....

Gave Farmers' Market foods to two beautiful Persian women in Eva's neigborhood. It was a chance to touch two lives and fills me with happiness...

Date:   4/29/2005 2:12:42 PM ( 19 y ago)

Loading my the EG Mobile
on the street in front of nieve Eva's
two beautiful Persian women,
one a daughter, and one perhaps her mother,
she me straining my arm
to pull down the back flap
of the van.

I have limited range of motion in my arms.

They help.

I see they have come from shopping for the Shabbat
that begins tonight.

I wish them a good Shabbos.

They say, "are you Jewish???!!"

I say, "Of course!"

(I might likely say the same to a Christian
if she asked if I were Believe in Jesus...
of course I DO!)

I see they have come from the corner shopping.

The greens are in a box.

"Do they have organic food?" I ask.

"No, it is too expensive," they say.

I call them over to my van again.
I pull out a lovely beet, an orange one.
I bought some at Whole Foods.

I give it to the mother.

She is so happy.

Then I pull out some lovely tangerines,
and two oranges.

They resist momentarily.

"Please, take them, I always have more than I need,"
I say.

(Plus+this is my job as Your Enchanted Gardener
to turn people on to organic living...)

We talk some. Then they go on there way.

They saw Hag Samech...the greeting between the
two first days of Pesach and the last that begin tonight.

I am high as a kite.

I am so happy to be of service to the women of the neighborhood.

I give them a card. The young mom does not do internet,
but her daughter does. I tell them they can see lovely
pictures of out of the box foods from the Farmers' Market.

You can see them too!

There is a lemon verbena bush between here and the EG Mobile.

Lemon Verbena grows naturally along the Jordan River.
I have not yet seen it there personally in this life,
but perhaps you and I will take a little trip.

Lemon verbena is a natural anti-depressant.
IT is high in Vitamin A.

Every Enchanted Garden deserves lemon verbena.

Make a sun tea in a gallon jar.
pick in morning. by sunset or late afternoon...
drink the tea...lovely.

See you b/4 long.

Your Enchanted Gardener sez:

Out of the Box Foods are available at
your Local Farmers' Market.
Whenever possible grow some of your
own food, and know the farmers who grow
the rest of your food.
