Autumn Equinox 2020 in the Northern Hemisphere will begin at 6:30 AM PDT on Tuesday, September 22. Here's a Fall Equinox Eco Art piece.

"The word “equinox” comes from Latin aequus, meaning 'equal,' and nox, “night.” On the equinox, day and night are roughly equal in length.
During the equinox, the Sun crosses what we call the 'celestial equator'—an imaginary extension of Earth’s equator line into space. The equinox occurs precisely when the Sun’s center passes through this line.
Note that fall foliage isn’t due to current weather conditions. This is a common misconception. Leaves change color because of the amount of daylight and photosynthesis."

The colors are typical of fall--golds/browns/oranges; made from recycled magazine images, bits of reused paint palette, cancelled postage stamps, and one piece of hand-made mesh, all sitting around randomly on my art table. Words and hand embroidery added. I like the beige color and the rough texture of the background paper of the collage; the paper is at least 20 years old, and was recently found in a container of art supplies my children used when they were in elementary school.
Detail--the embroidery can be seen a bit clearer here; it goes around all of the magazine images and pieces of paint palette.
