Venous Stasis Dermatitis
(Path of my Life)
Stasis Dermatitis - swollen lower legs
Date: 8/11/2020 10:16:15 AM ( 4 y ago)
Today I removed a band aid and the skin came with it.
That is scary. My lower legs have been bleeding from the slightest knock. The skin rips and it eventually forms a scab. I have a dozen scabs on my lower legs. One is as big as a quarter dollar.
The band aid one is larger than that!!
Another name is "Weepy Legs" - that comes from the dribbling of white blood cells from the broken skin.
I no longer feel comfortable in short pants in public. Oh well, I have always been uneasy around people.
I believe this is the typical condition that follows years of stasis dermatitis - swelling in the lower legs that comes due to the "one way valves" in our calves being injured or ineffective for other reasons.
Do Veins have one-way valves throughout the body?
]does anyone know? I don't].
SO, Vascular Stasis Dermatitis with erythma that causes breakdown of the skin.
Oh no!! I like my skin. Don't break down now.
One suggestion is to use Apple Cider Vinegar - wrapped a cloth of that gauze around the lower leg, soak it in ACV beforehand.
Oh god, my upper arms hurt so bad. Fibro pains, from gentle use riding bike. No pain during the rides, just later. Crazy stuff that Fibro,
Sorry, thats my complaining for the month.
