Eco Art by mayah(c)2019 Cardboard Creation April 01 7" x 5"

Cardboard, burlap paper scraps, buttons, hand embroidery, old plastic frame; jute hanger (not shown).

Originally, I made 12 of the embroidered cardboard circles for the cardboard box, yet ultimately decided to use only 6 of them. This piece was created to use some of the leftover circles.

Cardboard "ribs", cardboard backing, last of the embroidered cardboard circles, motherboard "innards" from broken electronic devise, beads, button, random "junk" sitting around on my art table; jute hangar (not shown).

I really like the cardboard "ribs" that are revealed when the top layer of paper is removed from corrugated cardboard.

Cardboard "ribs", cardboard backing, three small plastic bags filled with dried flowers, seeds, stems, dandelion seeds; jute hanger (not shown).

Friends of mine gave me a bouquet of live and dried flowers; when the live flowers started to wilt, I removed the large flower heads and they are currently being dried for use later. The dried plant matter was placed inside the three little plastic bags, along with some dandelion seeds, then glued onto the cardboard.

Cardboard "ribs", cardboard backing, plastic battery container; dried flowers, seeds, dandelions, leaf, stems; braided embroidery floss hanger.

The remainder of the dried plant matter, loosely poured into the empty plastic container, then glued onto cardboard.
