Eco Art: Altered Postcards TWO

MORE altered postcards from the Huntington Beach Art Center in Southern California. I've collected postcards from each art exhibit I've attended at this small yet very well organized gallery. Here are several more 7" x 5" postcards that I've altered to create art of my own:

Original Huntington Beach Art Center postcard image:

Altered postcard front: sandpaper, magazine images of birds and sunflower; hand embroidery.
Reverse: acrylic paint, magazine images of ocean and shark.

Altered postcard: Magazine images of sunflowers/grass and alligator; hand embroidery. It took two postcards to make this, as the 'gator is "eating" the pie-shaped image that was cut out of the second postcard to make the image "stick out" from the background postcard for a bit of a 3-D effect. This is my favorite altered postcard and makes me laugh looking at it.
Reverse: "Balloon" of shark head from magazine image; tied with string. I thought the idea of making the shark head into a "balloon" was funny. my quirky sense of humor.

Altered Postcard images: It took four postcards to make, as I cut out, folded, and glued each cube from an original postcard. A piece of golden metallic embroidery thread was cut up and sprinkled on each cube in addition to gold glitter glue.
