Story:
The Enchanted Garden Mobile exhibit, complete with our favorite ‘68 VW van, driven by Leslie Goldman and Adrienne Prince continues in 2018, with give-aways of free packets of Plant Your Dream Seeds; these are ancient wheat seeds to help inspire your life purpose. The exhibit also features a chance to adopt and take home one of our special heirloom squashes, grown just for the #HeirloomExpo!
Hundreds of school kids and grown-ups were tickled to name and take home one or more of the indigenous squash that represent the history of different cultures. In its first year of 2017, cash donations from adoptions of Pet Celebrity Squashes raised more than $1280 to support the School Garden Network program. These funds go to support school gardens and rent buses to bring kids to the Expo!
Leslie and Adrienne drive the Enchanted Garden Mobile van more than 4000 miles to promote the increasingly popular three day event. “Follow me to the #HeirloomExpo!” is the message painted on the back of the van.
In 2017, they arrived several weeks early to personally let local residents know about our Pure Food Revolution Expo. The event is held on a Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday in early September.

Adrienne Prince and I kicked off the #PetCelebritySquash program at The National Heirloom Exposition.
An incredible amount of energy goes into growing the squashes. Last year I had eye opening educational experiences with my #PetCelebritySquash #GeteOkosomin, and another Native American Squash & other squash is that I brought home from the three day #HeirloomExpo.
The squashes I adopted became teaching tools for educating about heirloom seeds as well as for promoting the yearly upcoming #HeirloomExpo.
