Dig Deep Inside Yourself!
(My Enchanted Garden Onion)
What to do if you find yourself in difficult conditions.
Date: 3/20/2016 5:32:41 AM ( 8 y ago)
Continuing with great gratitude for the Truth and the Wisdom of a genuine master that I find most rarely expressed in my garden.
"Though planted in the same soil and benefiting from the same external conditions – the same temperature and humidity and the same care – some trees will produce flowers with dazzling colours, exquisite perfumes and delicious fruit, while others will give only dull flowers with no perfume and inedible fruit. The same can be said of humans. And so, when it is claimed that their destiny, their successes and failures, their rise or fall, are determined by family, society or events, it is in part true, of course, but only in part. Actually, what each person experiences depends primarily on the nature of the ‘seed’ or ‘stone’ they represent, that is, on how they think and feel about events, how they assimilate them and even act on and transform them. So, if you find yourself in difficult conditions, instead of wanting to change them or expecting better ones, you should work on yourself. Dig deep inside yourself, and you will find powers, virtues which will enable you to give the most delicious fruits."[1]

"Many people, suddenly finding themselves in situations they cannot get out of, will recognize how ignorant and weak they are and say to themselves, ‘If only I had known!’ They could have known, because at a certain point they were given all the right conditions for learning, practicing and becoming stronger. But they paid (too little) attention to these conditions: thinking that spiritual life required too much effort, and other activities and projects appeared, at the time, more important to them."[2]
This "Thought of the day" doesn't require additional comment from me and especially if you know "the Onion".

Do you understand what true forgiveness is? I had asked a potential "fellow gardener" to please forgive me and they indicated that they were not willing to. I see the following as applicable here.:
"It is your unwillingness to truly forgive that binds you to your past. Believing past wrongs to be real, your mind relives these past memories and carries them into your present. Although the individual names may change, the events remain the same. Yet, you wonder why you remain stuck in the past and still are miserable today. You are the keeper of your own karmic keys of redemption and release. ...You are in a constant state of worry that prevents you from being in the

Heard a fellow gardener share their "shock" regarding an incident involving other "gardeners" who "pruned" an abundant plant that has a meaningful history to it that originated with a certain native American family. This incident appears to have triggered an original family core wound from my fellow gardener's childhood. The original wound apparently undermined the child's trust. One could ask: "Was that trust issue ever dealt with?" I do not know. Is healing needed? Most certainly!
What more can I say? - That may be worth an "oracle reading". Fortunately I am able to give myself that reading! I can also do "Ho'oponopono".[4]
Just did the Ho'oponopono.
The "garden" most certainly is within!

I have a folder full of notes on things that I can blog about and the very next note is regarding astrological houses and includes: "you cannot have a truly satisfying harvest without first opening yourself in trust to another (individual).[5]" That is regarding the 7th House. I just checked the natal Houses for this "fellow gardener" and they are now in their 7th House! (Isn't this amazing?) "The 7th house is concerned with the act of commitment that makes ... merging possible".[5] (On the 15th they move into their 8th House.)
"Commitment" - Doubts arose in the "fellow gardener's" mind as to whether they could continue in this "garden". Doubts may be an opportunity to reevaluate (especially with all the retrogrades we have now) and possibly recommit however if there wasn't an commitment already made then how can one recommit?
I don't know.

"Work - on oneself is more important than all ideologies"
This is "...why people must understand that what is most important is to start working on themselves so that their thoughts, their feelings and their actions are truly consistent with the causes they claim so serve."[6]

I've continued to hear the challenges of a "fellow gardener" over the last eight years and in the last several months I've come to understand how that is so. It's by way of the mind trap! The problem is that we are not our mind!
"Once you are you, the door is open to anyone who is correct for you. But first you have to be that being before you can know. And you can‘t get there holding on to the remnants of your life."[7]
