February 2, 2023 - The Body of The Universe -
"Human beings live within the cosmic organism, they are part of it, they are cells in this gigantic body that is the body of the universe, which the Cabbalah refers to as Adam Kadmon, and regardless of what they want or do, they cannot detach themselves from it. They receive life and all the elements they need to subsist from it: food, water, air and light. Of course, if their consciousness does not participate in this reality, they cut themselves off from this organism to a degree and deprive themselves of this life, this support. That is why we must think to attune ourselves everyday with the universe, ..." - Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov[4]*

Philosopher and cultural historian Richard Tarnas speaks about our age of transformation and explores the challenges and possibilities of this dramatic time for which Jung used the term kairos, the pivotal moment for a fundamental spiritual and cultural change in human experience.
Richard Tarnas, 'Humanity's Rite of Passage'- Initiatory Process spoken of by Joseph Campbell in a lecture of 1970 who told a story of a North American shamanic initiation experienced by one shaman who told of his own initiation in an igloo for 30 days where "he died a number of times in those 30 days" and where he heard the voice of nature itself speak to him like a mother, and like children and like falling snow - that said: "Do not be afraid of the universe."[1]
He referred to Octavia Paz's[2] statement that the most powerful remedy is the examination of conscience and the remorse that accompanies it. Richard goes on to say that there's something about facing the shadow. Jung pointed to this. - If the apprentice piece is the encounter with the shadow the masterpiece is the encounter with the anima. On collective level that's the anima mundi, the soul of the world.

April 12, 2019 - An Etymological Discovery - The Transformative Nature of Our Universe -
universe (n.) -
1580s, "the whole world, cosmos, the totality of existing things," from Old French univers (12c.), from Latin universum "all things, everybody, all people, the whole world," noun use of neuter of adjective universus "all together, all in one, whole, entire, relating to all," literally "turned into one," from unus "one" (from PIE root *oi-no- "one, unique") + versus, past participle of vertere "to turn, turn back, be turned; convert, transform, translate; be changed" (from PIE root *wer- (2) "to turn, bend").[3]

Comment:
Interesting to find "transform" included with: "versus, past participle of vertere". This author often thinks of the verse: "Be transformed by the renewal of your mind" in reference to "transform." In cosmology - according to The Human Design Revelation - the universe since the "Big Bang" is in a womb-like state and pregnant with what is yet to be born. To the extent that may be true is the extent that the inherent nature of the universe is all about supporting the transformational process.
