Day 4 - Getting Energized
(Liquid Fast 2016)

Day 4 - Getting Energized by exposure .....

Fourth day of my fast, getting active, shaking out cobwebs

Date:   1/8/2016 6:11:05 AM ( 8 y ago)

Today was really great, beautiful day and I felt very clear and more inspired through fasting. I did a bunch of stuff round the house, looking after some gardening, planting seeds, doing a few chores and went out for a few hours in the afternoon taking my kayak out on one of the local rivers, swimming in the sunshine - had a great paddle and getting into the water always helps my neck a lot so its feeling markedly better after the swim.
Hoping the paddle eased up some of those locked up shoulder muscles - I'll be very glad the day I wake up 100% and able to get back to yoga - it kind of sucks not being able to do that but whatever, it doesn't do any good getting frustrated about what I am far better off accepting and relaxing to.
Had a couple juices today, lots of soda water on the paddle, a tea and a weak coffee, a glass of kefir - its getting late now but I feel pretty awake, think I'll wind down with another episode of Gotham - (I've been consuming all things superhero and mind control/rouge agents vs gov't corruption type shows in my chill time) - then head to bed with a little buddhist practice - I was reading a bit today also, some really interesting stuff on philosophy and back to a Wilhelm Reich book I had put down for a bit - lots to digest without the food! Well my kayak's still on my roof racks - will take it out again tomorrow and/or the next day - so idyllic this time of year when the sun is out and its warm enough to swim. Enjoying the fast - early days, early days - loving the clarity and inspiration.
