The Energy Spectrum of Human Design Gate 1

All energy in the Human Design chart exists on a spectrum of potential. 

On one end of the spectrum, Human Design Gate 1 is the energy for Creativity. It leads by example and knows that it’s greatest impact on the world happens when you stay true to your creative process. 

On the other end of the spectrum, Human Design Gate 1 is the energy for believing that you should be able to be creative all the time or that being depressed or low means that something is wrong with you. It Resists your creative ebbs and flows. 

If you don’t like the results that the “negative” side of the spectrum is creating in your life, you can raise the frequency of Gate 1 with a number of boundaries, practices, and tools.

"All mutation moves out into the general population through the 12/22. ('The Channel of Openness' connecting the Throat Center with the Solar Plexus Center between Gate 12 and Gate 22 respectively).

The 12th gate has already been responsible for the mutation in our larynx which allows us to articulate through language. The 55th (Solar Plexus Center) gate will be the mutation that takes place to allow the nature of the spirit to come out, and the pressure is on the 22 to recognize when to be socially open to release the mutation.

This is the great gift of the 22, to know exactly when to release the mutation. If it doesn't, there is disgrace because it does not work. Timing is in the nature of the moods. The 22nd gate: the gate of openness, the possibility to provoke social openness or not."[116]

This blog-writer just reviewed the above after having experienced an acute anti-social trigger upon having "his space" trespassed by another. Firstly he searched: "A Course In Miracles" and essentially agreed with the perspective of the projective nature of his experience. He then choose to fully own his experience rather than give any ground to his perceived trespasser. That was a major step toward resolution. Insight regarding his Human Design followed knowing that the strength of the emotional content of the trigger pointed to his defined channel connecting his emotional center with his throat center. Reading the above quote from "Line Companion" gave validation to his intuitive insight!

Detriment: The tendency in recognizing the strengths of the opposition to accept the inevitability of decline and rather than resist, to offer one's services to guarantee survival. The double agent. Crisis knowledge that is available to others for a price.

Physically it is associated with the lungs, kidneys, pancreas, prostate gland, and the nervous system. Its themes are feelings, emotions and sensitivity, and its function is to allow us to gain a sense of emotional clarity and well-being. When a person's emotions run unconstrained over time, the physical well-being of several major organ systems is directly affected. Water retention and weight gain are common examples of the consequences of unresolved emotional stressors.

Spirit consciousness is the opposite of differentiation, it is about oneness, and experiencing ourselves as a single entity. The key question that frees us from these endless cycles of guilt, shame and emotional confusion is the following question: 'Am I avoiding truth & confrontation?' Some of our non-self dialogue that indicates we have work to do on this plane of awareness may sound like the following: 'I don't want to go there because I don't want to deal with the confrontation. Let's go here because there won't be any confrontation to deal with. Let's not say that because it might upset that person. Let's say it like this to soften the potential confrontation. Combining this with staying focussed on our personal destiny while ridding ourselves of emotionally draining situations, patterns and people will bring the passion, vibrancy and energy we're after.

It's also important to understand that this emotional wave is open to external sources. We constantly take in emotional waves of others and we have to be careful that we don't identify with these. What is most important to understand about the emotional wave is that it is simply an inescapable chemical process that keeps the wave constantly in motion. No explanations accompany it shifts and swings. Appreciating, accepting and embracing the depth of the vibrant chemistry while simply being observant of it is key. Both highs and lows can be beautiful when we don't identify with the stream of emotion and don't let it destabilize our inner peace and ultimate knowing. Society tells us we have to be happy all the time. Because of this, a lot of people are constantly fighting against the downside of their wave, convinced that something is wrong with them. True liberation comes when they learn to observe, accept and embrace the full gifts and sovereignty of their wave.

We are not the wave but are taken to our depths by it."[112]

"... I have wondered about the difference in the locations of 'planets' between the two systems. Although I can't yet say that I have a conclusion on how the tropical works for Human Design (HDS) I can say that there is a place for the astrological component within the greater synthesis of all the other systems that are incorporated within Human Design (I Ching, Kabbala, Chakras, Neutrino Physics, Genetics, etc.) In other words when speaking astrologically about Human Design it is simply a component that allows the whole synthesis to be realized and therefor - IMO - it really deserves an open-minded consideration rather than holding a 'concern' to a degree of rejecting the greater synthesis that goes far beneath just the astrology.

In case you may welcome hearing - my own journey with this point is the fact that it was a few years after I became a student of HDS that I was introduced to Gene Keys (By: Richard Rudd) who was one of the very first Human Design teachers (taught directly by the original 'revelator' of the system) who later had a genuine awakening to all-inclusive interconnected wholeness and to three quintessential frequencies of the genetic sequence that he subsequently developed (based on 'transmissions') into The 'Golden Path' as a system of awakening for virtually anyone by using the Gene Key activations within one's Holographic Profile. I then found Gene Keys to be a truly graduate course (of and especially beyond the Human Design System) as the most penetrating and insightful approach to awakening that I have ever known! I now place less emphasis on Human Design and more on Gene Keys/Golden Path and yet HDS remains to be where it came from - despite the apparent 'flaws.'

I think this is an evolutionary process much as Human Beings are in an evolutionary process and that by understanding this greater synthesis we have unprecedented opportunity for growth in greater wholeness!

By considering human evolution as a core theme I think the relative significance of Human Design may deserve some reconsideration. ..."

According to her Human Design BodyGraph (based on a birth time of 08:53) Greta has a defined Self Center and therefor has the capacity for a consistent reliable sense of self providing that she is not over-conditioned by her parents. However she may have considerable vulnerability for their parental conditioning influences in her life operating through her four undefined centers: both Head Centers, Heart Center and Solar Plexus (Emotional) Center and these centers may foster not-self behavior that could deserve the following “Not Self” contemplations:
“Do I think I have something to prove?” (Heart)
“Am I avoiding confrontation and truth?” (Solar Plexus)
“Am I trying to convince everyone that I am certain?” (Ajna)
“Am I trying to answer everybody else’s questions?” (Head/Crown).

Her vulnerability in openness in her undefined head centers might possibly be mitigated by the strength of her Eight of Clubs – Planetary Ruler Card (associated with her incarnation card) known as “Mental Power.” An example of the strength of this influence is demonstrated by Sally Fallon Morell, founder and president of The Weston A. Price Foundation and author of “Nourishing Traditions.” In any case the undefined centers are schools for gaining wisdom in regards to other people.

"... Human Design has its roots deeply embedded in the fundamental laws of both quantum and macrocosmic physics. 'No man is an island/' spoke the poet; John Donne, and modern physics would have to agree with him. On a sub-atomic level we are all connected like cells within a giant body, that of the universe itself.

The Human Design System is founded upon this very premise: that the universe is a living entity, and that we are living in a vast information-feed consisting of countless minute particles now known to physics as neutrinos. Discovered in 1953, the neutrino was first thought to be made up of pure energy, In 1998 however, science proved that neutrinos bear mass and actually pass through us at the rate of about 3 trillion per square inch per second. Neutrinos are made in stars like our sun, and are the modern-clay equivalent of what the ancients used to call 'chi' or 'prana'.

On 24th February, 1987 at the Las Campanas observatory in Chile, astronomers discovered and, for the first time ever, actually photographed a supernova, a dying star. The supernova 1987A, also named Sanduleak, was a blue supergiant some 170,000 light years from Earth. Eighteen hours earlier on February 23rd, the huge neutrino detector facility of Super Kamokande in Japan detected powerful pulses of neutrinos from 1987A passing through the Earth.

Much of what actually allows our brains to function is the result of the presence of elements that only came into existence with the death of stars. The 'seeding' of the stars in this sense is well established scientifically. Since the recent discovery that neutrinos bear mass, physics is going through a process of having to redefine itself. We now know that stellar matter from distant galaxies is actually passing through our bodies. Thus the death of a star carries very profound seeding implications for the whole of humanity.

We live in a dualistic universe. The sun is our 'yang', we, the Earth, are the 'yin' and the neutrino is the mercurial intermediary. All life on Earth is thus generated and in a sense 'programmed' by the sun and, to a lesser extent, the stars. It is also intriguing to think that not only do the celestial bodies program us humans, but we also program them as well! Remember, the neutrino is not pure energy, but is an extremely fine form of matter. Thus, every neutrino that passes through us is changed, and conveys something of what we are out into deep space. Just like the human body, every cell is interdependent upon every other cell and communicates its presence to the whole. In the average human life, the neutrinos that pass through our bodies will travel 50 to 70 light years in every direction out into space. It is the most powerful antidote to the monologue-based orientation of virtually all the world systems that this writer has identified as "G-MEM - C-MEM." December 31, 2019 - Integral Human Design By: Richard Rudd author: "Gene Keys" -

My new understanding of Integral Human Design is as a far more integrated synthesis than before. Because Human Design is a true synthesis, it must include and communicate with other systems, languages and communities. This is why I view it as an Integral Human Design. If Human Design is to be integrated into a modern worldview it must acknowledge that there do exist other paths that also lead to the same place – to awakening. Without this basic openness, Human Design will surely remain an island. Awakening has always occurred and is continuing to occur to people with no knowledge of their type, strategy and authority. For sure, there will always be people who pretend awakening, but I am not concerned here with them. I would like to acknowledge and discuss those people who have genuinely awakened from within the maya or illusion of our mentally constructed reality.

Because people have awoken to the truth of their nature without this knowledge of their Design, perhaps we should listen to them as to how it occurred for them. From there we can perhaps learn more about Human Design itself. The most resounding message we receive from almost all the great teachers and enlightened beings is to purify our nature and open our hearts to the Divine that lies inside us. There are of course thousands of techniques to assist in this process. My own process of moving beyond Human Design has been to absorb its basic ingredients and allow them to find their own way inside me. This is why I created a new threefold language based on a spectrum of consciousness for each of the 64 hexagrams and gates of the bodygraph. In my own synthesis, I now refer to these as the 64 Gene Keys, because they represent codes of consciousness hidden inside our DNA. Furthermore, these codes can be ‘unlocked’ by means of changing the frequency of electromagnetic energy passing through them. In other words, you can directly influence your own DNA through your thoughts, feelings and attitude.

The Way of Contemplation -

The new language allows your whole being (not just your mind) to contemplate these codes inside you. By contemplation I am referring here to a deep process of meditative absorption and embodiment rather than its common interpretation as a kind of considered thinking. In particular the Gene Keys at the Shadow frequency allow you to observe the specific not-self behaviour patterns in your own bodygraph. At the highest level the same Gene Key allows you to contemplate your highest potential. By continual contemplation of this highest potential (the Siddhi) I have found that the not-self pattern gradually dissolves all on its own. This takes place because you are activating the higher frequency of that Gene Key or gate. If you do this as a sustained practise it will change the entire frequency of your design as a whole, rapidly transforming your life. Used in this way, the Human Design bodygraph becomes the most exacting and potent meditation tool available anywhere, because you are contemplating and activating the exact codes of your own inner Divinity. With all the attention that is given to the individual's natal chart activations this writer certainly understands how people who identify with "their astrology" tend to believe that it represents who they are. However the Human Design System takes that into a greater perspective by including the activations that occurred approximately eighty-eight days prenatal. It is within this "greater perspective" that a new "dialogue" can begin to evolve within the individual as to the truth of who and what they are beyond the finite limits of a "personality." Although no one (as yet) really says where the evolution of this new dialogue may lead to some already realize that it does allows the individual to finally "see through" their natal imprint. To be able to "see through" the personality is to see through the "mask" (person) because that is what the personality is!

January 30, 2019 - The "BodyGraph"- Representation of the "Mechanics" in One's Unique Human Design - A Very Brief History -

According to the original Human Design revelation (as of January 1987 and which was the initial exclusive foundation for the Human Design System) the bio-energetic body/form of our species went through a genetic evolution as of the late 18th century (starting in 1781 and completing by the late 1800s). This evolution began with a deep genetic mutation that resulted in a profound energetic transmutation from seven-centeredness (based on the 7 Chakras) to nine-centeredness that we now have with our nine (Human Design) centers.

"Human Design" as a System began to become known in the outer world in the early 1990s. It is the only system that presents and explains our upgraded nine-centeredness and the life and world transformative implications of this "upgrade".

Quintessentially - nine-centeredness gives us greater authenticity of our Individuality through harmonizing with our nine-centered "mechanics" which allows us to fully live as our true Self. The Human Design "BodyGraph" reveals the unique mechanics of how nine-centeredness works for each Individual.

January 8, 2019 - The "Hang-Over" of Our Pre-Evolution From "7 Centeredness" -

"In the 80,000 years or so previous to 1781, our evolutionary purpose had been to develop mind as a strategizing tool for survival. At the same time to counterbalance the madness of a powerful mind we also developed meditation practices that involved transcending the mind and the ego. The evolutionary shift was so relatively recent, that the momentum of the past frame dominates all cultures.

So even though we are born with a new evolutionary purpose, the old one still pervades our consciousness. We all carry the weight of 7 centered conditioning that glorifies the power of the mind to run the life. The mind driven egotism is evident in the comparative ‘pecking order’ mentality and where finding the way to ‘belong’ within the system is considered the meal ticket for survival.

The mind driven egotism is evident in our conformist yet competitive modern societies with the focus that survival and security are a byproduct of belonging, or fitting in to the system.

This conditioning mostly functions via an internalized inner critic inculcated in childhood through outer authority based upbringing. It still strongly influences the adult life and can be understood as a mindset that is a combination of ‘homogenized’ thinking and the way the not-self steals the show from the unique self."[82]

Comment: Gaining the above historical perspective on "our evolutionary purpose" allows understanding as to why human behavior is not other than what it is at this time. It also underscores why it takes at least seven years to decondition ourselves from "mind driven egotism." However it is possible to free ourselves from the "internalized inner critic" through investigating, contemplating, experimenting and discovering our way of Being just as we are designed "To Be"! Comment: There are a number of people who work with the Human Design paradigm who agree that "strategy and authority, is just a 'parlor trick'" yet they continue to acknowledge the original revelation of the Human Design System (HDS) that apparently has survived only through the presentation by Zeno & Chaitanyo in: "Human Design Revealed." Quintessentially the original revelation of HDS continues to be one of the best graphic "roadmaps" toward understanding the transitional form as an "energy tool" that all individual souls have to work with "to function within the physical world." And until we gain further revelation I give credence to how the personality as a "product ... is formed from the vibrational aspect of your name, the vibrational aspect of your relationship to planets at the time of your incarnation, and vibrational aspects of your energy environment, as well as from the splintered aspects of your soul." The only thing that I would add to the presentation on this from Gary Zukav is that "the vibrational aspect of your relationship to planets" also includes the planetary activation that occurred at the moment when you were born and that is in addition to the activations in the moment when your soul first began to incarnate approximately three months before the preceding mentioned activation.

Human Designs That Need "To Wait" with Nothing "To Do" - AKA "Projectors" -

So, it is essential that the other opens their energy, so the Projector can receive it, analyse it, and then project their wisdom. When the energy of the other is not opened – there is no invitation – then there is no energy available for the Projector, or the energy that is available is not the 'right' energy. To continue trying to make something happen only leads to exhaustion for everyone involved. And this is the reason most Projectors are so exhausted all the time. They are in unhealthy or unfulfilling interactions or working on ideas that have no energy behind them."[75]

The above quote from Omraam is an excellent example in large part of why I include Human Design in virtually all my introductions with individuals and most especially as an essential first step in forming relationships with others whether they are personal or professional. Re: "practicality and objectivity" - When looking at the "psychology" (as presented in the article quoted above) from a Human Design perspective it can be said that regardless of whatever "respect" that one may project onto mental evaluations like "practicality and objectivity" they are most certainly not the authoritative basis for making any important life decisions. That is because as nine-centered beings the mind is not where our inner authority resides. However the orientation was different when we operated in the past as seven-centered beings. That era is ending! Now each of us have a unique self-directed, individualized, true inner guidance system as our most reliable orientation for any and all important decisions that will have impact on our lives. The 46th gate is focused on the quality of life we experience in a physical body. It expresses the love of the body, and the sensual honoring of it as a temple in which we are always in the right place at the right time. We are one who lives the good fortune and discovery of serendipity. Whether we succeed or fail is dependent on the determination of our higher selves. This is an abstract process of surrender to a cycle of experience that can fulfill our potential or bring chaos.

The lessons we learn and the wisdom we share with others is derived from our determination, dedication and absorption in the experience as we are living it. The experience of the nature of ourselves in interaction with others is a deeply spiritual process, and can only be evaluated when the cycle is complete. If we cannot commit ourselves to the cyclical nature of life, our body will begin to fail under the stress of constant crisis. Without the 29th gate, we may recognize the right timing, but not have the energy to begin the process or the perseverance to complete it.

What is most exciting about the "Insights" I now have about Barbara is that her Human Design Destiny Cross is the Right Angle Cross of the Vessel of Love! This is the same Cross that I have! The Gates are all in the Self Center and include Gates: 10, 15, 25 and 46.

A Human Design reading needs to be "interactive."[30] My "readings" of another's Human Design works best when I have made a connection[57] with the individual and can dialogue with them. I feel I need at least some direct knowledge of the individual to share the particular "mechanics" of their Human Design with them in a way that they can readily relate to in their life either according to what they already know as true for them or according to the life challenges they are struggling with learning. There has to be a shared reality with each individual or it is just a "belief" and that is most certainly not what the Human Design System (HDS) came here for. Sharing the HDS is much like any genuine communication process that has understanding as its objective.

January 4, 2016 With Mercury about to go Retrograde there's not a moment for me to delay posting this.

I'm inspired to create mini "sound and light" presentations on the Human Design BodyGraphs of individuals. My vision is to create individualized charts by hand that are large enough to use as display charts for presentations that I video-tape for each individual. These Human Design BodyGraphs would also include the corresponding Gene Keys[37]. Most charts would also include description of Channel Definitions.

It is my intention to use mercury retrograde as the time for my research on the particular approach that I will take for the graphic production of these individualized charts. I have thought of silk-screen printing the outlines of the basic BodyGraph and then filling in the rest of the individualized Design by hand. However I think there is a better way for doing the "outlines".

The Undefined Throat Center -

According to Lynda Bunnell - "The not-self theme of the undefined Throat Center is ‘Trying to attract attention’. People with undefined Throat Centers are afraid they won’t be noticed, so their not-self mind jumps at any chance to think up ways to attract attention. They can easily succumb to undefined pressure to talk, to act, to make an impression, to interrupt, ... They don’t realize that open Throat naturally attracts attention, and if they wait, invitations to speak will come to them. In this way, they will receive the proper attention, at the most opportune time, with no need to waste precious energy doing something to move the process along. ...
...

When around others with a defined Throat Center, they may feel uncomfortable and end up doing most of the talking to relieve the pressure. ..."

If these individuals give into the pressure then what they say will be unpredictable and likely not well received by others. "When they allow their mind to dictate how and when to attract attention and when to talk, they are not operating correctly according to their (Design). Their ability to ... communicate correctly is then deeply affected."[5]

I know an individual with undefined Throat Center who over the course of about a year and a half has consistently demonstrated the consequences of "the not-self theme" listed above. I feel compassion for this individual! They have their personality Mars activated at Gate 8 at the second line of "Service" and a Design "To Do" however the ability to manage their anger is "deeply affected" and consequently it spoils the "service". It is unfortunate!

A friend has his G-7 activated by Design Earth at Line 5. I also have this Gate with Design Pluto and Design Venus and therefore have a personal interest in continuing my understanding of it. For these two reasons I am reading a lecture by Ra.[9]

"...The Alpha says, 'This is the way to go,' and it means that every logical gate carries within it this quality. This quality of 'this is the way to go.' And because it is shared, because that is the inherent quality of it, and because logic is argumentative, understand that; it is deeply argumentative. ... That is, argument can be also expressed as discussion, however we want to put it. ...

But it is something to understand about what happens to logic. The moment logic says, 'This is the way,' somebody logical says, 'Are you sure?' There is nothing sadder than a king without his people, if you know what I mean. The Alpha is noth- ing without its ability to be able to influence the other, which means that The Alpha in its understanding of the pattern cannot simply benefit from the pattern alone; it's pointless.

In order for them to be able to fulfill what is their role they need to get others to follow the pattern. And in order to do that they're going to have to deal with the basic thematic of logic, which is to debate. You see that in the buildup to political elections in democracies where you have this debating that takes place. This is classic logic, two Alphas trying to influence you in terms of which one will provide you with a better future. ...

In any kind of understanding of this role it is really leading you to appreciate something that logic brings to us that is very profound. It brings an insistence on our ability to be able to express ourselves and to be able to express ourselves well to the other. When you're looking at the logic system, because of the 62nd (Throat) gate, you see that within logic in order to be able to express the diversity of patterns that language, words, had to be added. That language had to be expanded, vocabulary had to be expanded in order to be able to express all the possibilities of the pattern.

It's one of the great gifts that we have as beings. And it is something to see very clearly about what The Alpha brings is that the assumption with an Alpha, because the word has many meanings, the assumption about The Alpha is that this is, like the 1st line of the 7, just a pure authoritarian force, but it's not. ... And its ability to be effective as an Alpha is going to be conditioned on its verbal ability to be able to influence others. And that verbal ability to be able to influence means it has to be able to defend its pattern positions. And of course, with this comes the development of logical linguistic skills, skills for debate, skills for argumentation, and skills for presenting your positions, on and on .... But what we’re getting out of that is something very special. Logic brings us a tremendous advan- tage in the development of our communicative skills."

My "community" and "High Ideals" advocacy has been calling for "Vision Statements" from both individuals and groups. Recent reading of Bob Proctor's article on "Purpose, Vision and Goals" informed me of the importance of knowing one's Life Purpose. Knowing that a friend has apparently been struggling with writing his Vision Statement I took to Bob's statement that: "When you have the right purpose, you'll easily develop the right vision."[11]

Our Life Purpose is designed into our Self Center aka "G" or "Ji" Center -

"... The Self Center relates to giving us direction, purpose and the sense of connectedness with our reality here on Earth. The Self Center also gives us connection to our sense of Love through the incarnation called 'The Vessel of Love’.”[10]

Plus: "Your incarnation cross gives definition and foundation to your overall energy design and is a cornerstone in your life purpose."[12]

I'd work with both a complete understanding of one's Self Center as well as their Incarnation Cross as foundational reference and then build on that as needed, especially including the Sabian Symbols for each degree of the Gate/Hexagrams.

In my Human Design BodyGraph my Incarnation Cross is completely located within my Self Center.

I'm finding considerable validation and a lot of enjoyment from my intuitive connection with the Human Design System! I'm noting this now after just having confirmed my intuitive hunch on two particulars in an individual's BodyGraph. After hearing the individual express their upset feelings about other people's behavior I suspected that they had their Self Center Gate 10 activated and sure enough they have Gate 10 activated and by their Personality Earth! I also had previously made note regarding their Heart Center, suspecting that it wasn't defined and once again verified that it is Undefined! I've verified my hunches a number of times now and the more I do the more grateful I am to be all the more connected with the Human Design of others!

A Psychic friend asked me how I was doing (my Design truly does a lot better with questions that require a "yes/no" answer) and although I sincerely was open to receiving that as my self-inquiry contemplation however before I could get to contemplating - he told me what he saw. He said he saw a "village" in my throat. I found that remarkable in light of the fact that I had just blogged about the Throat Center (posted immediately above). In addition I am seeing my "High Ideal": Cheeta Village vision possibly have some "expression" through a site that another friend has recently moved onto. In fact just this past day he let me know he'd welcome some of my compost.

Now I have new insight that might be meaningful only to me yet I find it noteworthy for my public journal:

I Am Living in 'The Village' that's in my Throat Center!

My Psychic friend said the village was dark (as in the night) and that we could bring in more light. I immediately agreed! In fact I've already begun to expand my light into this village.:

The "Not Self" can be thought of as a kind of "mind game" that is not in your best interest and that you would be better off not playing. However the only way I know of out of that "game" is to follow your Human Design "mechanics" just as it is revealed in your BodyGraph. My BodyGraph shows that I have a Defined Solar Plexus Center which makes me an emotional being. (Knowing this one part of my Design has been such a relief for me as up until I saw this I had been resisting and resenting my own "mechanics" and essentially punishing myself with my own self judgement for generating such intense emotions.) Now I know that my way "out of the mind game" is to wait for my emotional clarity before making any decisions that are of any importance to me.

I value maturity! I accept that maturity is an "organic" process that nay not be predictable for any individual. In my case all the early childhood conditioning by my parents to be my father's "little man" did not add anything to genuine maturity and on the contrary I see all that conditioning as an obstacle to maturity. In any case the parenting of about two generations ago was inherited from a long-standing model based on the seven-centered being even though:

I checked the transits for "the Uranus Opposition" in my astrology and it occurred at 40 1/4 years.

It is easy (IMO) to get access to your Human Design information. It is another thing to enter into the great experiment! I have shared introductory Human Design information with a certain number of people now to the point where I feel my function as a mentor rising above just the information. I appreciate what Ra has said in this regards:

Human Design is "not something that you dabble with. You either do it or you don't. You either experiment with it and you find out for yourself or walk away and live in your homogenized life. But don't fool yourself that because you're learning and because you're taking in information about Human Design that this is actually making the difference for you. It is not. So many people search for the truth and avoid it at the same time. The truth is in you. ... It's in you. It's your truth that has to emerge, not somebody else's. Not somebody else's authority, not my authority that says you do this. It's you. You either experiment or you don't, but that's what it's about, nothing else, and then once you're in that process then we can talk."[20]

HDS presents a comprehensive "update" of the 7-chakra system by showing that the human vehicle has evolved from a seven-centered to a nine-centered form. This evolution of our form requires a transition in how we navigate our life as nine-centered beings. The challenge in this transition now is that the predominant systems of the world were established for 7-centered beings. Consequently "we have a problem", especially in the Western world, in how we approach living in relation to our evolved vehicle's nine-centered form within a world on a course that was created for seven-centered beings.

The contribution that the HDS perspective could make in an individual's life and well-being can be truly awesome since only about 37% of people have what Human Design identifies as a Defined Heart Center. In HDS the physical heart is included within the Heart Center and also includes the Ego, the Will and one's orientation to the material world. This means that close to 67% of the world's population is vulnerable to the conditioning influences by way of the typical demands for will-power - at least in the work world - and these individuals are therefore most likely subject to exhausting their Heart Center's energy in their continued attempt to prove themselves. People without the consistent reliable definition of their Heart Center are not designed to be exerting their will forces in the ways that the world demands for their will-power. Consequently the overextending of the Heart Center's Will and Ego forces has a weakening impact on the form's biological well-being and that in turn effects specific organs connected to the four Human Design Gates of the Heart Center. The gate most pertinent to our "problem" is Heart Center Gate 21 - associated with the physical heart.

Just in case you haven't heard - the leading cause of death is heart disease.[21] When the physical heart is seen from a more all-encompassing perspective of mind/emotions/will-body/organ (as a number of practitioners have been discovering and telling us) as well as how external conditioning impacts us then given the present state of how we live in tremendous conflict is it any wonder that the number one disease shows up right in the heart?

The Human Design System shows us the transitional nature of our nine-centeredness as it is based on the genetic (microcosm) level and which lasts the better part of two hundred and fifty years (comparable to the transitional period between the Ages mentioned above) and with the "transition" between the Ages our transition as a species has it’s correspondence on the macrocosm level!

One aspect of the Human Design System that I especially like to research is the physiological correlations. I have a friend who is now suffering a kidney stone. Kidney stones are the result of a calcification process and can be responded with an adjustment of body chemistry, namely magnesium.[31] I also consider other perspectives especially when people say "it's the stress" as in emotional stress. In The Human Design System I look at the individual's Solar Plexus Center (SPC). My friend's SPC is undefined. There is a tendency with an undefined Emotional Center to magnify the emotions of others. Also, my friend has Gate 30 activated by Design Earth at the 5th Line - "Irony" - the description of which I found insightful although I'm not going to quote that here just yet. However I'm quoting the following description of the Undefined Solar Plexus Center from "The Definitive Book of Human Design"[22]:

THE UNDEFINED SOLAR PLEXUS CENTER - 47% OF THE POPULATION

The undefined Solar Plexus Center absorbs and amplifies the emotions present in its environment. This center carries an especially deep conditioning potential, and can be particularly vulnerable to the needs, moods, and feelings of other people. It is critical for the health and well-being of the emotionally undefined to know when the emotions they are feeling and expressing are not entirely theirs, and that they can release them and protect themselves by not identifying with them. Otherwise, they bounce up and down on the emotional waves of others, knowing their emotions are out of control but interpreting that as something wrong within themselves. They repeatedly make emotional decisions which leave them regretful and plagued by shame or blame, a burden the undefined Solar Plexus is not genetically designed to handle.

... The Solar Plexus is designed to take in and sample the emotional field, but only for informational purposes. It is not healthy to identify with or personalize that field, or it becomes theirs, and they do not have a reliable built-in way to deal with it. They lose their transparency, their ability to merely reflect an emotion back to its owner.

Those with an undefined Solar Plexus may feel as though they have been emotionally out of control all their lives. When emotionally confronted, they may experience sensations that include fear, terror, shock,[32] and anger. They may bounce from happiness to depression, personalizing emotions and feelings as if they were their own when, in fact, they are simply taking in, amplifying, and distorting the emotions of those around them. ...

It is often just the thought of confrontation that keeps those with an open Solar Plexus frozen in terror. The actual confrontation may be much easier than imagined when they stand in their own Authority, and the results may end up being the best thing that could happen because it is correct. If confrontations are always avoided, life is lived on a superficial level. It helps to remember that on the other side of pain is pleasure, and on the other side of fear is the freedom to be ourselves. Confrontation when handled correctly, when we simply speak our own truth rather than blaming someone else, is a catalyst for healthy transformation.

... When they understand why emotions have been so difficult, they can begin to properly realign their lives to their own personal Authority. They are able to discern who is or is not emotionally healthy for them, and when it is appropriate to confront others with their truth or needs, or to walk away. They discern which emotional fears are theirs to deal with and which are not, and do not make emotional decisions. They realize the emotions they take in and feel in an amplified state are from others, and do not attach to them.

"If you're interested in detoxing your organs of heavy metals or yeast overgrowth, here are some very important components you'll need in order to have a safe and successful detox, so you don't deplete minerals or throw your chemistry out of balance.

1. Methionine

L-methionine, which is the building block for glutathione, the body's most important antioxidant, allows the body to detox when it wants to not when it's forced to. Methionine has the ability to inhibit toxic metals from crossing the blood-brain barrier.

2. Taurine

L-taurine is a precursor to GABA; reduces elevated levels of cortisol in the body; helps burn fat; improves insulin sensitivity; increases testosterone production; acts as an antioxidant; enhances heart and brain function and improves sleep. Taurine and methionine are both sulfur amino acids that lend sulfur molecules to the liver for its sulfation detox pathways. Sulfur is important for the production of mucous and detoxification. Obtaining sulfur from methionine and taurine is more metabolically sound than taking sulfur supplements because the body can gauge how much it requires in any given moment.

3. Methylated B Vitamins

B vitamins work together; they help cells burn fats and glucose for energy, they promote cell growth and division, maintain healthy skin and muscle tone, support and increase the rate of metabolism, enhance immune and nervous system function, which includes easing stress and improving mood probably triggered by an increased production of serotonin. Take food-based or methylated B's, not synthetic B's that are found in most formulas.

4. Thiamine

A coenzyme required for the breakdown of sugars (carbs) and amino acids (protein), thiamine plays a central role in the release of energy from carbohydrates.

5. Niacin

This vitamin is the precursor to enzymes needed in many metabolic processes which also require magnesium, zinc, and manganese.

6. Folate

Folate has a methyl group and is a precursor necessary to make, repair, and methylate DNA. It is especially important in pregnancy and infancy to aid rapid cell division and growth.

7. Pantothenic acid

This B vitamin is a precursor to Coenzyme A (CoA) and therefore plays a crucial role in the metabolism of many compounds. ... modern medicine doesn’t have a drug to help your detoxify or to support the detoxification pathways of the body, they ignore it. But I have a lot to say about detoxification in the Detox Chapter of Stopping Inflammation:

We have good reason to worry about toxins and to be concerned about our body’s ability to detoxify them. The role of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) should be to stem the tide of chemicals that overflow into our world but it seems that now they do little more than count the flowing barrels of pollutants. According to 2000 EPA statistics more than 4 billion pounds of chemicals were released into the earth that year contaminating ground water, seeping into wells and reservoirs. Another 250 million pounds of chemicals were “legally” discharged into surface waters (i.e. lakes and rivers) by industry and around dumpsites. And two billion pounds of air emissions were pumped into the atmosphere. Add to that the thousands of food additives that are deliberately added to our food supply and another few thousand that make their way in as trace amounts of herbicides, pesticides, and food-processing chemicals. Four hundred licensed pesticides amount to 2.5 billion pounds each year choking the life out of any land still able to grow living plants. Helping to sweeten the 14 pounds of food additives the average American eats 150 pound of sugar every year.

As reported by noted Canadian, activist and journalist, Helke Ferrie, “Our bodies have become the world’s toxic dump sites. The billions of dollars worth of pesticides, plastics, petroleum products, and heavy-metal containing technology have made the industrial world rich beyond belief, and threaten human survival as it conquers the earth. Dr. Sherry Rogers in Detoxify or Die, pulls no punches. She says, “We have conquered the world with pollution. There are no more pristine areas left without a trace of man’s manufacturing might.”

The Environmental Protection Agency confirms that 100% of the world’s population harbors traces of heavy metals like mercury, lead, and cadmium in their blood. Dr. Rogers echoes this warning and writes that, “Indeed every living thing now has DDT in its tissues and its toxic effects are increasing over time.” Helke Ferrie reports that the World Health Organization admits that in terms of scientific research on environment pollution there are no more “control groups” free of toxic synthetic chemicals to be found in the world.

Brain, bowel, hormonal organs, including testicles, and ovaries are all equally affected. Our body ineffectually lashes out against the invasion of chemicals that it was never equipped to handle. The result is epidemics of allergies, arthritis, auto-immune disease, cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome, mood disorders, and neurological diseases that, as Helke Ferrie says, “no amount of fancy genetics will explain away.”

We only have to follow the scenario of life on our planet to enumerate the ways toxins build in our body. ...

Yet, allopathic medicine, in its unwavering focus on treating the symptoms of disease with suppressive drugs, pays no attention to the body’s detoxification systems. It is not a specific topic in medical school; there are no specific allopathic tests for toxicity; and there are no “drugs” to treat toxic overload. In fact, drugs, whether prescription or over-the-counter, all must themselves be detoxified in the liver placing more stress on a system already burdened with the overabundance of chemicals in our environment.

Any foreign material that gains access to our body must necessarily be dealt with by our immune system and our detoxification system. But we need to be aware of how our organs of detoxification perform the miracle of cleansing our body so we can understand how to support this process. In general, the body is able to detoxify the basic end products of daily metabolism. Most of the biochemical pathways have mechanisms that reconstitute enzymes and even vitamin and mineral co-factors that are used in the process, like a self-perpetuating system. All sense of that is lost when the body has to detoxify external chemicals. There is no perpetual motion machine, the enzymes and vitamin and mineral co-factors are used up and flushed out leading to eventual depletion if essential nutrients are not replaced.

The actual process of detoxification in the liver is fascinating. It basically entails the conversion of fat-soluble toxins into water-soluble metabolites, which are usually, but not always, less toxic. Water-soluble chemicals can then be excreted through the kidneys, whereas fat-soluble chemical cannot; if they aren’t converted they are either dumped into the intestines with the bile or end up being stored in fatty tissue. Many people who understand the process of toxicity in the body feel that the epidemic of obesity is in part due to the body’s need for a place to store the chemicals to which it is exposed. For that reason, if you are overweight, and trying to detoxify, you have to proceed cautiously so that you aren’t overwhelmed by all the toxins being liberated from shrinking fat cells. The feeling of being poisoned causes many people to abandon their goal of losing weight.

Detoxification occurs mostly in the liver with some activity in the blood, lungs, and walls of the intestine. In the liver it’s talked about as phases–Phase I occurs in the liver cell membrane. Dozens of different enzymes act on chemicals adding or taking away an oxygen or hydrogen molecule to make the chemical water-soluble. This phase of activity depends on cofactors in the form of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and hormones. Detoxification can be seriously hampered if there are deficiencies. The B vitamins, vitamin C, and progesterone are very most important cofactors in the process of converting fat-soluble toxins to water-soluble ones. Underactive or overactive Phase I can be a problem. Poor Phase I functioning creates an inability to tolerate caffeine, overactive Phase I means you can have a high tolerance for caffeine. Underactive Phase I means you just aren’t detoxifying chemicals and the overload can damage the liver and lead to auto-immune disease. If Phase I is overactive you detoxify chemicals too rapidly and end up with an excess of very unstable chemicals waiting to be further processed through the Phase II pathway. If Phase II is underfunctioning when you eat asparagus you get strong smelling urine and you may be sensitive to sulphites
Phase II detoxification is slightly more complicated with certain molecules attaching to the Phase I products making them more water soluble and easier to eliminate. This phase depends on sulphur obtained from the diet. Cruciferous vegetables: broccoli, cabbage, brussels sprouts are sulphur-containing foods and have been widely promoted as immune-boosting and health-promoting. That’s because they help the liver in it’s ability to detoxify.

Many toxins, such as petrochemical hydrocarbons, pharmaceutical drugs, and steroid hormones do not allow molecules to be added or taken away and don’t allow themselves to be turned into a water-soluble waste product. Those chemicals require sulfur amino acids (amino acids are the building blocks of protein) that grab onto these toxic chemicals and convey a “stickiness” that drags them out of the body when the sulphur amino acid is excreted. Sulphur amino acids like methionine, cysteine, and n-acetyl-cysteine are so powerful that they can pull out mercury, lead, and arsenic. Conjugation with an important body detoxifier, glutathione requires vitamins B6 and B12, the B vitamin, folate, and magnesium.

Detoxification can’t proceed normally when it’s Phase I and II pathways are overloaded with external chemicals and heavy metals or when the body doesn’t receive the necessary vitamins and minerals in the diet.

It’s only when we agreed that toxins are building up in our bodies and are a potential problem that we can turn our attention to trying to get rid of them. If you don’t think there’s a problem in the first place how can you find a solution.

Omraam speaks of direction on the spiritual path with references to the human chakra system:

"...in spiritual life ... you can have a compass. ... the submarine is equipped with devices giving out readings that the captain can interpret and so avoid incidents. ... human beings are like submarines insofar as, inwardly, they carry devices that allow them to find their way in the invisible world. These devices are their body and their subtle centres: energy centres like the aura, the solar plexus, the hara and the chakras. For the moment, however, these devices are covered in rust ... or they are broken because of the disordered life these human beings have led. So it is now up to them to put them back in working order .. and, no matter what happens, they will know clearly which direction they should head in."[38]

"Direction" is one of the characteristics of the Self (AKA 'G' or 'Ji') Center in the Human Design System. This center corresponds to the Anahata or Heart Chakra. In addition "Direction" is also indicated by several other astrological activations within the Individual's Human Design. In my consults I also can include other indicators of direction including current and future astrological transits.

The picture is even worse when we consider the Taoist view that all the organs and systems depend on the kidneys for Essence, for vitality. Excessive fear eventually weakens all our internal organs and shortens our lives.

Inspired by the "Daily View"[44] re: Gate 64 I see in my notes that a certain "fellow gardener" has a quadruple planetary activation of this Gate in her natal Human Design and each at a different Line! Her planets here are Personality Mercury and Uranus plus both Plutos. I have Personality Pluto and Design South Node in this gate which is enough for me. ; ~ ) I like the Line description[44] that is being transited by the Sun as of Friday morning (September 8th).

November 22, 2017 (Some people actually remember the event on this day in 1963. Others may need an "unwritten" history to gain understanding how "the event" had broadcasted a message to all regarding these latter days.)

Just received an initial inquiry from a fellow in my greater area regarding the Gene Keys. He says: "I'm an incarnation cross of the unexpected, a 1-3". According to the Human Design System "1/3" is a Personality configuration based on the Hexagram Lines of both their Personality Sun/Earth activation as well as their Design Sun/Earth activation. Line one is known as "Investigator". Line three is: "Martyr". Human Design is not astrology however it gave me the physics that supports astrology. Human Design is truly a synthesis and therefore a new creation. In this sense it is purely logical when one realizes that through living harmoniously with one's design one becomes a new creation; their old "not-self" ways pass away and all things become new. This new creation is not about behaving differently. It is deep transformation/reprogramming at the cellular and genetic level. How does this occur I wonder. And in my wonder I read:

While viewing a YouTube video I got attracted to another YouTube video of: "What Frank Zappa Wants You To Know"[72] which upon viewing inspired me to revisit his Human Design and most especially his Ajna Center where the primary themes are: Thoughts, Answers, Opinions, Insights, Ideas, and Conceptualizing.

Frank had a "Defined Ajna Center.
The Ajna Center - Themes are: Thoughts, Answers, Opinions, Insights, Ideas, and Conceptualizing. The following four Gate were all defined with Personality/Conscious planetary activations:

Gate 47 - Oppression - The Gate of Realization -

“The Definitive Book of Human Design” describes this Gate as: “A restrictive and adverse state as a result of internal weakness or external strength or both.”

This gate was activated by his Personality Moon at the 6th line:
“Line 6 - Futility:
A difficult position for which there is no exaltation.
No polarity. 
The Sun in detriment, where the strength of will alone may find a way to adapt and survive, but without hope of ever overcoming the oppression. Life as an ordeal stripped of realization.”

Gate 43 - Breakthrough - The Gate of Insight -
In order for achievement to be maintained a new order must be fairly established.

Personality Mars at: “Line 2 - Dedication:

Exhaltation: The maintenance of specialized attitudes which promote breakthrough. Unique mental habits and thought processes which promote insight.

Detriment: A dedication to action, that when actualization is in sight may become incautious. The urge for expression that will abandon its normal processes when an opportunity arises.”

The way that the public got to know Frank's thoughts, "answers", his strong opinions, insights, etc. was through the fact that his Ajna Center was connected to his Throat Center via the Throat 23/43 Ajna Channel:
"The Channel Of Structuring: 43 - 23 A Design of lndividuality (from Genius to Freak), Circuit: Knowing, Channel Type: Projected.

The Ajna Gate 43 activation is indicated above here and his Throat Gate 23 activation in this channel was by his Personality Uranus. The characteristics of Uranus need to be well-noted here as the planet of higher mental faculties such as clairvoyance. (The synonyms are: ESP, extrasensory perception, sixth sense, psychic powers, second sight; telepathy.) This influenced the channel (connecting Ajna with Throat) with unusualness, a creative and unpredictable quality as well as its innovative energy to the whole Throat Center. All of that plus double Pluto activations at Throat Gate 31 brought its influence into expression of "depth and erotic potential" and a captivating "descent into the underworld, into one's darkness, most forbidden places, our taboos."[71]

Gate 23 is known as "Splitting Apart - The Gate of Assimilation - Amorality. the awareness and understanding which leads to the acceptance of diversity." Activation at the 5th line:
"Line 5 - Assimilation -
The practical acceptance of the values of another path.
Exaltation: Expansion and contribution through assimilation. The gift of communicating individual insight to the collective.
Detriment: Motive driven assimilation from an inferior position, i.e. for protection or nourishment. Motive driven assimilation for acceptance and protection from the collective."[22]

Also to be noted in his Throat Center re: the double Pluto activations at gate 31 of "Influence - The Gate of Influence" both of these at Line 3 "Selectivity - The ability to carefully assess and choose the proper influence ...".

All of the above is connected with his Self Center via "The Channel of The Alpha": Throat 31 to 7 Self Center!

All of this "Design" without really getting into his music - which was my very first introduction to Frank Zappa and "The Mothers of Invention" in 1966 just a few months after the release of "Freak Out".

I sent the following to an individual with whom I shared an initial complimentary introduction to their nine Human Design centers and who first replied saying they didn't know what it meant.

"Good to hear back from you xxx!

In case you're interested in - 'what any of this means' - the first thing I would suggest to consider is that you have unique innate intelligence functioning in your body (most especially highlighted through your Defined Centers of Spleen, Sacral and Solar Plexus) all operating independently from whatever mental state may exist - underscored by the fact that you have an Undefined Crown Center with that center's vulnerable themes that may include 'Doubt, Confusion'.

In other words the 'meaning' in all of this is in following the bodily intelligence and especially when making important decisions.

Your Human Design/BodyGraph shows that you have consistent reliable energy in your Sacral Center 'To Respond' plus your activated Solar Plexus Center requires you 'To Wait' for any pertinent emotional waves to complete their cycle before responding or especially before making important decisions.

Is any of this helpful to you xxx?"

His reply:
"Yes, that is very interesting!

I've always followed my gut and the only few times I didn't it ended up being a disaster.

And, yes, on the mind level, I always seem to be a bit confused about why or how this all works... but in the end if I trust my gut, which sometimes takes a while (I often will take days or weeks to make a decision) it will almost always work out."

December 20, 2019 - About 4 Days Before Christmas -

There is one individual this Blog-writer knows (ever since before he ever incarnated!) whom he believes may like to receive a Christmas card from him and fortunately he has one!

The cover of the card says "Immanuel ~ God With Us" and it shows an artist's rendition of what apparently must be three Kings ("The Three Kings") and in the sky before them is a very large, bright, shinning star. Inside the card is a full side devoted to a narrative re: "The Mysterious Magi." It starts out by saying:

"The Three Kings, or Magi, are mentioned only in the Gospel of Matthew. Few details are given ..."

However, we can make very reasonable speculations about them. Also Rudolf Steiner had something to say about these Magi and altogether there is meaningful content for us to contemplate! For this Blog-writer the more significant "speculation" is that these "Magi" (who "followed a star") surely were very well fluent in what this writer refers to as "the language of light." Today that language is called astrology and in Anthroposophical communities it is known as astrosophy which could be interpreted as the wisdom of the stars.

However, over two thousand years ago the "language of light" was much fuller, more embracing of the cosmos and of man's relationship to it. There is much that can be said (and has already been said) about this ancient language of light that goes beyond the point of this blog entry.

Back to "a Christmas card" - The main message of the card (on side three) starts out saying: "Christmas is a time to reflect and rejoice in the birth ..." and continues further but for now the rest of that message is mostly covered by a small sticky note this writer placed on the bottom right corner of the card as there wasn't room enough for him to write the note directly on the card. He didn't pre-determine the placement in relation to the card's printed message however afterwords he found it especially interesting that the sticky note covered the last part of the message right up to where he quoted from it above which made the top line of his pre-printed sticky note message as the temporary continuation of the card's message so that it now reads:

"Christmas is a time to reflect and rejoice in the birth - The Secret of Your Life"! That new message inspired this writer to blog about it right here where your birth holds the secret of your life! The secret of your birth can be likened unto the narrative quoted above regarding: "The Mysterious Magi" the "language of light"! What this writer just wrote wasn't fully formed in his mind when he started this blog post yet following his inspiration (likened unto a star) it brought him to an expression in this form that has sparked his spirit with a new imagination regarding the "Christmas story"!

In order to get the full value from what is presented here you are encouraged to be introduced to a unique "language of light" that has originated with the collapse of a distant star in 1987 from which a neutrino ocean burst forth and permeated everything throughout the whole Earth with a higher intelligence that one man in particular was extraordinarily attuned to through "The Voice" that gave us The Human Design System over the course of nine days from January 3, to the 11th. The "Destiny Cards" for these nine days are all "Spades" and start with the Jack (Known as "Revelation Through Labor") and end at the Three ("The Artist Card") which was Ra's Planetary Ruler Card!

There is a synchronicity in all of this that fascinates this writer to no end!
