Join Sarva Dharma & the Prosperity Hive in welcoming the amazing Singing Bear for an ecstatic evening of Song & Dance on Beltane Eve. Let's celebrate the beginning of the bright half of the year as we plant fertile, community seeds of conscious intention. This will be Singing Bear's first San Diego appearance in over a year and he will be accompanied by his partner Chocolate Face and their new baby, Angelina.
Singing Bear has traveled the globe, from Hawaii to New York to Europe, sharing his music. Independent and self-managed, his presence and performance continues to open magical doorways to great opportunities. “Musical Alchemy,” he says, “is an expression for the magic that transforms a normal song into a time traveling portal.” His performances are always fresh and magical - never a repeat of the old. "The thing that sets Singing Bear apart from other musicians is his lyrics. Like many, he is beautiful with a great band and has a very captivating and magnetic stage presence as well as a wall-dropping, bittersweet and powerful voice. But, honestly, what makes him different is the words, the poetry. Truthful, real, written by him. His live performances are magic because he allows himself to go beyond his recordings. He freestyles new lyrics and speaks lucidly as if channeling from another time."
Singing Bear has been featured at large Health Conscious Festivals and Events such as Harmony Festival, Monterey Pop 40th Anniversary of the Summer of Love, Raw Spirit Festival, Mystic Garden Party, CAST, Peace Village Festival, Dreamtime Festival, The Good Fest, and the list goes on and on. He recently teamed up with producer and writer Jesse Boleyn to record “Gold” at Renegade Studios (Jefferson Starship), mixed by Chris Garcia (Santana, Dido, Katy Perry) and mastered at Sonic Vista Studios (Lady Gaga, Grizzly Bear) & independently produced at the highest level.
